Before Bedlam, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Etc, There Was Big Bertha that Featured Cozy on Drums and Brother Dave and Denny Ball on Guitar and Bass Respectively. This Show Was Recorded Via Two Mikes Onto a Revox Machine in December 1970.

Anybody purchasing this CD is doing it only because Cozy is playing the drums, so don't need to convince any drummers out there to buy this. Is Cozy great? Of course he is, he always was on every recording he is on. The brother's Dave and Denny Ball are good enough to make this a fine addition to your CD collection. Don't let the fear of a substandard recording discourage you (it was recorded with two Sennheiser mic's (perfectly placed) and a Revox Reel to Reel. Is this a great live recording? No. It is a very good recording though and I highly recommend it.
