very easy to install and very sturdy!
I like that the wheels retract, and the turning mechanism is lubricated to make it easier to retract or extend the wheels out into place. These are rated for 400 lbs each and they allow me to sit inside my work table to perform maintainance work even with material sitting atop.

great casters to move and secure a heavy table I use in the shop
I'm using these casters on a several hundred pound table and have found them to be easy to install, able to roll easily on a flat floor and when I don't want to move them eazy to anchor with the rubber pads that they come with.

Perfect Casters
High quality, used on a cast iron router table custom cabinet I'm building. I was a little skeptical at first but not no more, rolls around perfect, smooth and stable, and once you engage the foot pads, rock solid stable, no movement or sliding at all, your more apt to tip the whole cabinet over before the casters give up ground. I will be buying more of these.

Solid but difficult to adjust levelers
They are solid however it requires some serious force to turn the leveling diel. I had to take all of the force off of the caster in order to level it without destroying my fingers. It would be nice if it was a bit easier to use, like if they included some kind of tool to provide the leverage needed to turn it. For my application I might try something different in the future but I don't regret the purchase. They get the job done and are sturdy.

Great for the money
I used these on a workbench I built for the garage, and I'm really pleased with them. My garage floor is sloped to allow water to run off out the garage door, which necessitates some kind of adjustable foot to make my workbench level. These casters make it easy to level my bench, and if I ever want to move it, I can simply lower it back onto the wheels and roll it around.

Holds 530 lb milling machine with no problems.
These are not made for frequent rolling around. They are optimized for leveling the load and creating a secure base to the floor. The only "locking" mechanism is when you rotate the leveling mechanism to force the pads against the floor (with the wheels lifted off the floor). However, for an application where you rarely, but necessarily need to move a heavy load around your shop this is an ideal product. We used a 2x4 to leverage the bench up to take the weight off before turning the leveling mechanism. This makes it much easier to turn when you have several hundreds of pounds on the wheels/pads. Note that you don't adjust the height of the wheels, but rather the height of the "pads". Once the pads are in contact with the floor, it will no longer roll. To move the load, you must again turn the leveling mechanism to retract the "pads" allowing the wheels to make contact again. To emphasize: This product is optimized for fixed position of level table/bench with option to release the pads for easy movement. If you don't want to level the table, then you can just keep the pads up and it will always be in the rolling mode, but then you will need to lower the pads again to stop it from rolling freely on the floor (no breaking mechanism for the wheel itself).

Great Product
Purchased casters for a work bench I am making and these casters move so smooth across my floor even with some sawdust on the floor. Lowering the rubber feet is kind of a pain, but once they are down my table does not move a cm. I would recommend these casters if you are going to use them for extended amounts of time either on the wheels or the pads, but not so much if you will be moving the table frequently.
