Faschingslieder: Carnival Songs

Faschingslieder does not disappoint. Using expert wordplay
Faschingslieder does not disappoint. Using expert wordplay, powerful contrast, a keen sense of timing, and at least one subtle proto-Riot Grrl reference, Carriere deftly tackles religion, sex, queer issues, and the dehumanization of art. His style draws heavily on 20th and 21st-century New World schools of writing while incorporating Carriere's trademark Saxon influence. He is invariably original, occasionally grotesque, and often hilarious. Ultimately, Faschingslieder is yet another fantastic work by the author of Hi's Cool and the publisher of Danse Macabre.
