Okay, let me just start off by saying that I thought I got gypt when I first opened the package. They were really thin and I thought they were so brittle that they would have just broken apart. I set them down and didn't look at them again. My daughter eventually looked at the package and it said to soak them for 15 minutes. So, here I am soaking them and just like those little dehydrated dinosaurs you soaked in water to make grow when you were a kid, these things grew and became amazing! I was upset waiting so long for them to get here and then opening them up and they looked like very thin ramen noodles. These are the best now! I will be ordering more! I won't ever go back to a plastic loofah ever again! These are the best!!!!

These really are perfect. The nice bag they come in, the perfect size, the string that doesn't break, how clean and fresh they are, etc. I'm a harsh reviewer usually but these I really like. Only reason I'm back riding the review because I'm setting up subscription for monthly deliveries for myself and my wife

Using a natural loofah, as opposed to one made of plastic, has made a difference on my skin. Combined with all natural body wash, I don't itch nearly as much & my skin is softer overall.

Like it. Gets the job done. I wish it was a little bigger. But it is cheaper and a good replacement for Almooni which is often sold out.

I am so happy with these loofahs. I was in the search for a more natural and sustainable alternative to plastic loofahs. It took me a lot of searching but these are perfect. They are very high quality, you can tell that they have been minimally processed (very little bleaching or alteration) and I really appreciated that they came with very minimal packaging (came in a cloth bag, little to no plastic waste). Also, this is a small thing, but the string/rope to hang the loofah is also well made and well attached which is just another testament to its quality. For reference, the sponges are very large, so I likely wouldn’t recommend for travel. However, they are such a great exfoliator and my skin is already feeling the benefits of switching to natural from plastic!

Ok, you have to soak these before use. No problem. After soaking them, my husbands looked like it had seaweed or something scary in it. I tried to pluck it out but it only shredded. I’m not sure what it was but if it had been my loofah I wouldn’t have wanted it touching me. Also, these grow mold insanely fast. I noticed after a week it turned grey. I soaked it in a bleach water solution. I was looking for a more economical version of a plastic loofah. While it may be economical, it doesn’t feel as clean as I’d hoped. On the flip side, I didn’t think it was too rough for a woman’s skin. The loofahs my husband typically likes are rough and scratchy but I felt like I needed more scrubbing then my plastic loofah. Once you soak this it softens nicely. I didn’t feel like it tore at my skin. I give it a 3 out of 5.

I love a good loofah in the shower, but until these babies came into my life, I had been using the plastic-netted ones. I did a little searching and decided to try some out that could be a bit more eco-conscious, and also reasonably priced. In the past, I associated natural loofahs being hard and mostly for your feet. I didn’t even know you could get large ones like this to replace the plastic ones for all-over-scrubbing.I was not disappointed. The loofah’s showed up as expected - dehydrated and on the small-side. But as soon as I soaked it in some warm water, it fluffed right up to be even bigger than the traditional plastic shower-puff.The texture is soft, yet stretchy and strong. When it’s wet, it’s a bit soft, yet thick enough to hold structure in your hand. It’s super similar to the texture of the plastic ones in terms of scrub, yet it has a similar texture to a sponge and is great for head-to-toe lather and exfoliation. It can absorb quite a bit of water and I like that it has a strong attachment for hanging. To try and prevent any unwanted bacteria on my loofah, I try to squeeze (not wringing) any excess water after rinsing and hang it up. It shrinks a little bit as it dries but doesn’t get nearly as small as it’s shipped form.I like to use it with body wash and because it’s quite porous, it doesn’t work up a massive lather. This doesn’t bother me (it’s also pretty easy to rinse clean) but I do feel like it soaks up a bit of product.I use mine nearly daily, and after a month, it still hasn’t showed any signs of deterioration. I like the three-pack for a longer term investment. Each loofah is a different shape, as this is a natural plant material. I didn’t see any seeds or bugs in mine.At the cost of around $6.50 a sponge, they are only a few more dollars compared to a “decent” plastic loofah (ie: from Shoppers Drug Mart or Wal-mart, not the dollar store). I also estimate that due to the sheer size and thickness of the loofah, it will last for quite a long time if taken care of. Great value and friendly on the landfill - I think if you use natural cleansers (oops, I don’t 🥴) you can compost them but even in the garbage, I think this would definitely break-down (whereas, plastic ones, not so much).Great value, natural product and super fluffy and thick. Must-try!

Best natural loofah ever… These are so soft and gentle on the skin, I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely worth the money spent, will purchase again.

Great natural loofahs, they aren't to rough on the skin once soaked but still give a nice gentle exfoliation.Has a bit of a scent but goes away after u scrub in your soap twice.I liked mine so much I ordered extra to have on hand for guests and my mom :)
