Loved the ergonomy and practical advantages of this pull saw !
I loved the concept and practical aspects of this japanese pull saw: a) Blade is thinner. Because the blade does not need to handle the force when you are pushing the saw to cut, but the opposite force when you are pulling, the blade does need to be as reinforced, giving also a thinner cut. Less wood needs to be sawed. Meaning less effort. I also adapted quickly to the ergonomy of the pull saw. b) Foldable: The foldable design protects the cutting saw side from banging inside your toolbox. The locking mechanism is quite efficient in holding the saw open. c) It is light enough for using outdoors, besides using to cut wood for my DIY projects.

Very good for fine pruning
I wanted a sharp fine-tooth saw for cleaning pruning of relatively small shrubs and trees. Very sharp, good opening and locking function, good ergonomics, and cuts very well. I have other saws for larger diameter (2" or more) and rougher cuts. This is saved for clean cuts on good shrubbery. Hide this one from your spouse when they need to cut bamboo, just sayin'.

Versatile handsaw
Quality cuts, the blade isn't as sturdy as one could wish for, but with enough patience you can make clean cuts. Really sharp blade, I poked it accidentally into hand, and got 2 red holes in my finger, meaning it can do a job ;-)

Great addition to a camping setup.
I've always wanted to have the possibility to have large firewood while camping and this saw allows just that. I think the 210 variant would also be acceptable for a bit of weight savings. It's awesome to have nice 5-6 inch diameter logs at the campsite, and not to have to feed the fire every 5 minutes. The blade lock mechanism is precise with a positive click. The teeth are extremely sharp, and easily cut thorough dry pine. Pressure required to cut was minimal. The only downside of this pull-cut-saw is the thin blade. If you are sawing enthusiastically, and the blade gets stuck, there is potential to bend the blade on the push stroke. Make sure you adjust your technique when cutting thick wood, and don't pull the saw out quite as much.

When a penknife won't do.
If you need to cut wood, particularly tree limbs of a limited size, this is a first choice. High quality materials and construction. Can be carried in the folded state in a pocket. Easily cuts and does not spray the sawdust.

Super Agressive. Precise. Well Balanced.
easily the best pull saw I have ever used. Clean cuts, easy to control, and it eats through anything I use it on. It's easy to get a little carried away if you're not paying attention. I was cutting some 3/4 inch plywood and cut right through the 2x4 sawhorse.Update: I have now been using this saw nearly daily for 2 1/2 years. It is every bit as sharp as the day I bought it. I regularly use it to race against power tools and it rarely loses. I will use this until the blade breaks and then buy a new blade for it. This is a lifetime saw.

Simplemente wow!
