It is a standard pattern. Its exactly what you would get from the fabric store. This type of pattern is not for a beginner who is teaching themself how to see or how to read a pattern. There are the standard keys that are in all patterns (images to indicate what the notches are and images to indicate right side vs wrong side), but the directions are not written like "Quick sew" or other beginner patterns. Beginners might find this pattern difficult and frustrating. That is not the pattern's fault. The pattern is made for people who have experience with sewing multi piece garments and experience in reading patterns.

The item came in a timely manner and was as pictured. It was a pretty easy pattern to work with.

Well, user error. I made the robe...poorly. It looks awesome on my wife, but that’s on her...Anyhow, getting the lapel to work into the self facings was a true nightmare that took joy out of my heart and sank my sewing room into a pit of black satin despair. I’m not a pro, but like...I make stuff. So, shouldn’t have been so miserable. Furthermore, I had a time with the pockets and French seams that made me think perhaps I should forgo sewing for paint by numbers.The tap pants were hawt on her and really a perfect little addition. I roll hemmed the edge with red on the black satin base and I was quite pleased.I’ll be making the slip/nightie at a later date and I plan on giving the robe another go. The belt attachment is clever...totally appreciate that.Worth the price for the variety of hellish thread nests that you can create. Also, I find seam ripping akin to meditating on patience and self-forgiveness. I’m mindful AF after this one.

This pattern has some problems, specifically, the collar construction. The instructions are poor and the collar does not come together nicely.

Good price. I haven’t used it yet, but I’ve always been pleased with vogue patterns so I’m not anticipating any issues. They are typically quite expensive, so the price was attractive and the idea of being able to customize lingerie makes this a solid win.

I have just finished making the long robe on this pattern. The pieces went together well and the instructions were clear. I am very pleased with the finished garment. I have tw comments to make about the pattern, 1) I would not classify it as easy, I think it is for people who have done quite a bit of sewing, 2) it comes up small, I am a size 14 normally and I made the size 18.

It’s a great pattern but a bit expensive

This is a useful dressmaking pattern but add £11.83 to the advertised cost. The import duty is almost more than the pattern.
