This book is a must for teachers and administrators who want to build classroom or school learning communities. It is easy to read, to implement, and wonderfully practical. We have used this book for in-service on building our school-wide (pre-k through 12) positive discipline model.

This book is the foundational brick I use each year to build community with each new class I receive in Septermber. I have heard Ralph Peterson speak many years ago and EVERY EDUCATOR needs this book!. If you do not have community within your classroom, then your students will never learn. You must capture their hearts before your capture their minds. This book will help you create that magic in your classroom. :)

This is a wonderful book, well written, engaging and full of good ideas and well detailed narrations about turning a classroom into a place of friendship, community, respect, joy and of course, learning.
