Was exactly as shown.
Bought this item on sale because a lot of reviews show item not as shown. Took a chance and my item came exactly as shown in the pictures. Item is very well made even though you can tell it's handmade which I do prefer. Item is very sharp. The leather sheath it comes with is very well made and does what it should though it doesn't have a loop specifically for the belt. I don't believe that deserves to knock a star off because it doesn't specify that's what the sheath is for, most often it's just for storage as this is. I understand some did get a lesser quality item but mine was exactly as described and I felt compelled to review and show a photo to show what I did receive.

Ordered it for the sheath
I ordered this knife for the sheath and wasn't disappointed. If you need a hatchet,, gardening or digging tool the knife is a plus. The handle on my knife was much better machined than I anticipated for such a cheap knife. The steel is very cheap and holds an edge about as well as the average hatchet which my knife and been relegated to.This is a good deal for the money. It is a better deal if, like me, you need or use the items for separate reasons.

WOW
I just got this knife and my hot take is that I love it! The balance isn’t great and the handle is not ergonomic but it looks so cool! Once I attempt to put a real edge on it and get my hand used to it I may revisit this. One more thing worth mentioning is the (really nice btw) sheath is only to protect the blade, there is no way I can see to hook it to my belt.

Fantastic Knife
I absolutely love this knife. It covers all the bases for me. Got it today and beat the hell out of it on some serious hardwood stumps...not a scratch. The sheath is also impressive. Much better looking in person. My new favorite, and I have a lot of knives running the specrum.

Pricey for the package, but not terrible
But not great, either. It's obvious upon unpacking that this blade is made from mystery metal. Sure, it's repurposed steel, but that can mean a LOT of things.Regardless, it's weighty, has good heft, and works as a good camping all-rounder. The handle is quite nice, giving you two options for holding to shift the balance of your task (chopping versus scraping/whittling) and the grip is the right size. The problem comes from the manufacturing process. The wood grip is cracked in several areas, primarily where the holes are drilled. The finish on the grip is also applied after the final assembly, leaving it to cake in places where it shouldn't. It's really somewhat sloppy. On the upside, the sheath is excellent. Good quality leather with good snaps, easy to slip the blade backin and close with one hand. That alone might make it worth it for some folks. The unit as a whole is pretty good so far, and I'm happy enough to keep it as it serves my needs well, and in the end that's all I ask. However, it's not quite worth the asking price, so caveat emptor.

Poorly out together an no love in there product but a good design. The rabbit never wins the race
They didn't round off the edgeing on the handle so it's like holding a 1x3 block . Sheath is nice but had some loose stitching on the end of it .I'm using it for a chopper so I decided to grind off the back edging an the double blade design still need to straighten the blade out an put a edge on it . A little overpriced for it's value but lesson learned

Great quality and durable.
I got my knife yesterday and got to use it a little bit, I absolutely love this knife. It’s got great weight and seems sturdy. The only complaint I have is it came tiny chips in the blade and the tip was rounded like someone dropped it on a rock but nothing some sharpening couldn’t take out.

I am VERY pleased with this knife. It is strong, sturdy, and well made. Fits my hand perfectly. Nice scabbard too. Very impressed and happy with this purchase to add to my knife collection.
