Covers a lot of great information
We are VERY new (in process of buying a Travel Trailer) so was looking for something to give me some insight. This book was great, and now I have a two page list of things I will need to buy. We will only be doing weekend trips but her advice seems more for longer excursions. But that really doesn't matter as 2 days or 5 weeks, all of her tips are going to be used! Thank you Sara. (now if you could just help us pick a camper!!!!) :)

Some Tips & Ideas experienced RV’ers understand...
A leisurely read, that has some great advice & thoughts one really only learns over time & experience (i.e. read ‘mistakes’)...or by reading this book! Save yourself some time, effort and money, while practicing being an armchair RV’er. Finalize that list of items to take along (and leave behind), or refine that all-important checklist of what to do, when! A joy to read and educational as well. Well recommended!

Exactly what I needed!
So we bought a hybrid trailer.. and we don’t pick it up for a few weeks... and I’m taking my granddaughter out in it the following week...Clearly we don’t know what we don’t know! This basic book is like sitting by a fire with a good friend who wants to help you out and relieve your anxiety about what you’ve just done. She’s obviously a good sort with many tales and anecdotes, mixed with good humor and lots of pointers!I read through it in one sitting and when I learn more of what I don’t know, I’ll go back to it and review it again.I think I can do this! The book was just what I needed!

Tent camping!! Wait..err ok maybe not..
I originally purchased this book thinking maybe it might hold some insight on the things not to do or things I wish I'd done when starting out RVing. Instead it's a bunch of things NOT to do to keep your camper SPOTLESS AND NEVER USED! Honestly, this isn't a book for folks just starting out in the RV world. If they want to be like this family, who it would seem, bought an RV (which is no small cost in and of itself), then purchased a bunch of things aside from that initial large purchase (she does shop at dollar stores tho) to basically do everything outside, the way tent campers would. I've tent camped since I was able to walk, my parents were of the mind that if you brought your house with you, why bother camping at all. Ill admit, the RVs these days are not what they used to be, but like my Pop used to say, "why buy it if you aren't gonna use it?" I mean really..the author actually says "the sinks are only to be used in an emergency!". They would have been better off buying a well made large tent along with a canopy to prep meals, cook and eat under as well as showering and cleaning themselves up under and saved themselves a ton of money, but this is just my .2 worth.

Fast read with practical advice
This book is short and to the point, which I appreciate. The author provides a lot of great tips and tricks for anyone heading to a campground, regardless of size and type of camper.

lots of great tips for a first time RVer
This opened my eyes to what RV camping would be like. We are considering buying an RV and if we do this will be my checklist of what’s needed and how to organize for the trip.

Great info & fun to read!
The author has a wicked sense of humor, AND great tips for camping (especially for those pulling a travel trailer). Tips on how to have a better camping experience: from hitching / unhitching, handling laundry, emptying tanks, and cooking outdoors.

Helpful, blunt and easy to read
I enjoyed this book. It was direct, easy to read, and had good ideas. Honestly, I appreciated how “to the point” it is and that the author didn’t waste your time filling pages with fluff. I guess I wished there were a few pics of different ideas, but brands and store ideas are provided, which I found helpful. Thanks!

Great Beginner Book
If you just bought your RV this is a great book. If you know anything about RVs, not for you as you will know most of the things in here. 5 stars for being a 5 star beginner book. If you are a RV vet and you still want to buy this, you will still learn a few things, but nothing advanced.

Not much more than a brochure
Officially, this "book" has 76 pages. However, the font size is so big and the content streched so thin that you could easily put all the information on 20-25 "real" pages. Thus, value-for-money is not really good. There are a few useful tipps, for sure, but really only few and the "book" tries to conceal the fact that it is really thin (content-wise). Juts one (of many examples): The authors writes on more than two pages about why and how (!) to use a cell phone when backing up a trailer! Yes, the tipp is useful but half a page (max!) would be more than enough. In sum, I expected much more and was disappointed that it contained so little.

Good for beginners
Lots of good tricks! I recommend to all RV beginners. Sometimes a little basic but worth the read! I feel ready to go!
