As a fan of Kenwood products, I purchased this to make do until I can buy one of their (super expensive) stand mixers. At a reasonable price, it works as intended. I've made numerous cakes and cookies with this product, and I've not had an issue.Because it's white, it definitely gets dirty quite quickly and more noticeably, but that's not a big issue. I do wish there were more speed increments, but it's hard to complain when the product is affordable. It's quite powerful on even the first setting, and I've never had to use the top one apart from mixing some bread dough. It comes with bread attachments as well as the whisk attachment, which I eagerly use. Everything is easily cleaned and comes apart without issue.Definitely recommend this to home bakers on a budget.

There's really nothing to dislike about this simple, straightforward, easy to use, and reasonably powerful hand mixer. The plastic housing is basic, but sturdy. The machine is lightweight. The beaters are easy to clean, especially since they're dishwasher safe, and this comes with both regular beaters and mini dough hooks. The dough hooks are perhaps a bit optimistic, and the manual does warn against using these for more than a very short time, to avoid overheating and burning out the motor, but they're helpful and better than nothing. The regular beaters are perfect for creaming the beginnings of cake mixes; making batters; whipping cream and eggs; and make great, smooth, mashed potato.The mixer has 5 speed settings, controllable by a simple switch, that's easy to control at the flick of a thumb. There's enough resistance to the switch that it doesn't go shooting up to higher speeds than desired, but still moves readily. The switch does work one way only, moving across from left to right, which makes this perhaps a little easier for right-handed users than left-handed. Good, sturdy mixer, and at around £21 one that is pretty good value. Good for pretty much any kitchen: between a starter where this is the only mixer, and a well-established kitchen where this makes a light, easy accompaniment to a stand mixer, for tasks where using a big mixer just seems excessive.

A replacement for a previous Kenwood mixer, which had given me many years of use. I unfortunately broke it.I had no hesitation in buying the same one again.

Lots of functions

I bought the mixer just because the beaters broke...both of them while mixing whipping cream... and the price of the beaters only was ridiculous so it made sense to buy it all together.The mixer is great I am happy with it, have been using my for 3 years now.As far as I have seen others had the same problem with the beaters so if you are not bothered to reaplace them from time to time is a good product.
