3 ft. Short Double Cross Shoji Screen - Walnut - 3 Panels

The screens, generally speaking, are pricier than I expected they would be, but I ordered these anyway and overall I am happy with that decision. The construction is very nice and they are attractive, especially for my need. They fit perfectly, true to the description.I needed something to separate a loft space with a black metal railing from the main open area in the apartment so that someone could make the loft a full-time bedroom with as much privacy as possible. The screens do the job and actually make the railing attractive from below (see photo). The screens are black with white opaque panels, like frosted glass. Daylight can go through but even when lights are on in the loft, you can't see shapes behind the screens when looking from below. You can very slightly see shapes of some things directly against the screens in the loft when the loft lights are on but cannot tell what they are and the shadow is so slight I debated even referencing it here. And just to be clear, you cannot make out (or even see) shapes further away from the screens and the privacy for the new resident is basically as good as if it were a solid wall.Still, they seem pricey to me, but are of good quality. I am very happy with this purchase.

I love the screen, I have other screens in my home from another company. This one in particular, it says 3’ in the description, then further down, it says 35.75.” It’s 35.5”.Truth be told, I ordered a 36 inch screen, and the other ones I have from other companies are 36 inches. This actually makes a big difference in my bathroom window. So I’m disappointed that it doesn’t quite reach to the sill. Other than that, it’s beautiful, but that’s a dealbreaker for me.

Perfect fit, I don’t used any lights at all at night, light and shadow just creates a relaxing ambiance.

Air fro A/C was blowing on my legs as I sat at desk shown in photo. This lovely screen blocks the AC and stops it from blowing on me. I put laptop cords in slot between the panels. Very attractive, price is reasonable for quality of item.

We use this panel to cover the bottom part of my office sliding glass door to keep the dogs from banging on it and from looking in/out.

We have a bulky black metal heating unit in the living room of our apartment where a fireplace used to be. This screen works perfectly to make it fit in better with the surrounding architecture ⁠— it's no longer the first thing you look at when you walk into the room. Very pretty and high-quality, and amazing for our purposes.

I moved my office/studio downstairs to the dining room so I can look out on the lake and the view when I'm working. This makes for a great working environment, but now my office is the first thing you see when you walk in the front door or come in from the patio... and between the computer & recording equipment (and my less-than-neat work style), it's pretty cluttered looking. I also don't love the idea that my office is immediately and completely visible to anyone coming into the house.I needed an elegant and streamlined way to divide the room and hide my workspace... something with a small footprint, that I could move/remove when needed (especially when working with a client) and that would fit in nicely with our eclectic ethnic decor.My solution: 2  4 panel Cherry Blossom Design Room Divider, 4-PANEL, BLACK  Shoji Screens (I bought mine directly from Homedecorators.com), one at either end of my 64" dining room table, and one of these 3' tall 4 panel Double Cross Shoji Screens on the table top, expanded enough to span the length of the table. Perfect! There's still plenty of space on the table for all of my equipment and I love that I can easily reconfigure the screens to change the space if desired.It looks GREAT from the outside, but even looks nice from the "inside"... creating a beautiful cozy work area when I need to cut down on the distractions.p.s... the screen arrived well-packaged and protected... in perfect condition. I would definitely purchase from this seller again. My only "complaint" is that the price is a little high. The price for each of the full size 4 panel screens was MUCH less than this 1/2 size screen.

I love this simple but elegant screen, which saves me the inconvenience of putting up blinds, and is so versatile, light and portable. It also lets in enough sunlight to brighten a room. I just wish the price was a tad lower.

It fits perfectly in the place I wanted it for.

It fit perfectly. It was to go behind our loveseat so the cat could not claw at it, and it worked and looks good also
