My daughter just turned 5, but she is the average size of an 8 yr old. She is taking her first dance class, and I didn't want to spend the crazy amount of money for a leotard in a dance store. Where she is long-torsoed, sizing is always an issue for us. I took a chance and ordered the 6-7 yr size since leos have some stretch to them. It is a perfect fit for her right now, but she'll outgrow it soon. That's not a sizing issue, just the size I ordered. Knowing these run true to size, we'll be back to get the next size up when she's ready.Other than that, the fabric quality is top notch. It looks expensive, but my picky girl was comfortable in it the whole time. The skirt is not super sheer, so it actually serves the purpose of covering her butt to a degree. My daughter absolutely loves her leo, and I absolutely love the price/quality of it. Way better than the expensive ones in store.

Fits well and nice quality

I bought two of these for my daughter who likes to tumble and ordered the size 150 (10-11y). My daughter is 7 years old, but 98th percentile for height, with a long torso. The fabric is not flimsy, the design is cute and it is well made but unfortunately the leotatd part was just too snug and I had to cut it, which kind of defeats the point of it while she's cartwheeling on the front lawn.I would have given it 5 stars had I not gone up two full sizes only for it to be so tight a fit. She however still loves them and did not want to wait for an exchange.

Perfect! My daughter LOVES this. It fit her perfectly (I ordered true to her size) and she was very comfortable in it throughout her gymnastics class. It's sparkly, vibrant and seems to be good quality. We've had no issues with it and she wears it for a very active gymnastics class. She was bursting with pride when she put it on.This is an adorable leotard for young girls. The skirt is attached, so there's no issue of it falling off or constantly having to re-tie it. There's a glittery shimmer throughout the leotard, which of course, she loves. This is her favorite of her all her gymnastics outfits now. I'm VERY happy with it.
