I'm gonna start by saying I think if your gonna sell a camera that's in a "smoke detector". It should always be a functioning smoke detector for everyone's safety.I like it though, 90% of the times I go to view the live stream it loads and it has great signal. No hopping or choppy live stream.It is not something you notice looks like a smoke detectorA couple things I would changeThe camera is not a wide angle lens unless it's pretty far up. That being said for best view it needs to be on a wall and not on the ceiling...... And what smoke detectors are mounted on your wall? Lol not to many.The battery life is not great. But I have mine plugged in all the time. Now that being said lol I had to install a electrical box and outlet in my ceiling so you did not see the wire for the constant power going from cam to an outlet. I personally did not mind doing this. But if you don't have the knowledge to safely install an outlet then yes it is a very stupid design flaw.Just adding this but there is alot more room in the smoke detector case. The camera takes up very little. For DIY people you could make it a smoke detector by moving everything around or add other components inside if you wanted

Good product and uses minicam app. Picture is a little smaller than I like but works great for when I am not at home. Has a decent wide range. Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase and would do business again with seller. Shipping was fast.

Great product night vision is very clear. It could probably use audio but over all its a great camera

I still have both of the cameras in the box because we could not get them to work. Unfortunately I didn't try to set them up until 2 days after the returnable date. So basically it was a waste of over $100 to just sit on a shelf.And I have purchased cheaper cameras that were easier to use so its not the user.

Great camera concept. Gets an overall whole room picture so you can capture video. Looks inconspicuous and serves as a great camera.

Sent back the first one after the camera went completely black after being fuzzy for a couple of days first. The replacement one I received went fuzzy after a couple days. I could only recommend this product to someone who is willing to overpay for a paperweight or frisbee though it doesn't preform well as those either.

A camera inside of a smoke detector, what a brilliant idea. This product does exactly what is says in the details and you won’t be disappointed. It’s well constructed and it looks very nice, just like a smoke. The video and image quality is great. The battery life last for a good amount of time based on the usage and notifications frequency. Mini USB cable included can be used for uninterrupted electricity. I’m currently using iOS device and the app is really nice and stable. The app has all the needed features like, WiFi configuration, motion detection and loop recording. This is a very good purchase, plus the warranty is really good. In my opinion, the length of warranty tells how much someone stands by their product. I would most definitely purchase again.
