They will work great for making kite marble pegs
Very sturdy and I milled the top with a bowl to accept a marble which makes the epoxy connection more secure and centers the marble when placed on top

Good product, terrible packing
The stakes are very good. The only issue I have is the complete waste in the packaging. Each stake is individually wrapped. Then 10 wrapped stakes are placed in a plastic bag. That bag is then placed in a bubble wrap bag, which is then placed in a bubble wrap envelope. Finally this is placed in the shipping envelope, which is placed in a shipping box. A big waste for a good product.

These literally saved our day
After our first camping trip was so easy I got a few odds and ends just in case our next trips weren't so smooth, including picking up a pack of these.Little did I know the very next camping trip, I'd NEED them. The State Park we went to had these gravel spaces with incredibly hard packed ground underneath. It was raining as we arrived and I was stressed out that we wouldn't get our tent up fast enough to stay dry. That's when things got out of hand. The metal tent stakes that came with my teepee tent, one by one, bent horribly as I put them into the ground. I'm not an idiot and know how to properly hammer stakes into the ground, but this ground was giving me heck unlike the first campground. That's when I pulled out these babies. I'd gotten them just days before going, thinking "well maybe I'll never use them, but just in case..." Boy, were they a lifesaver. They pounded into the ground like a hot knife through butter, or at least they seemed to compared to the stakes that came with my tent. We were nice and dry in our tent less than 5 minutes later.2 days later when it came time to pull them out, my wife thought they'd be impossible to get out. But the little lip things on them let me grip them and get them right out, no torquing or yanking.Even if the stakes you use have worked fine thus far, just do yourself a favor and grab a set of these. It's better to have them and not need them, than need them but not have them.

Greenhouse Secured, Good Metal
These are working great to keep my small greenhouse secured to the ground. About two months ago I had my small greenhouse (plastic cover, some thin metal poles - nothing fancy) setup. Within a few days, a storm had tossed it to the other side of the yard, since it wasn't secured to the ground (no stakes came with it). So, I popped on amazon (my local HD only had the yellow plastic stakes) and bought these. These things have some good weight to them. The plastic head, which mine turned out to be a darker green (some reviews mentioned lime), is okay and I haven't had any trouble with them for my use.I've moved the greenhouse twice, pulling them from the ground without issue (wasn't too hard or too easy to do). My yard is soft enough that I can push them in about half way with my hand and all the way with my foot, so getting them down was no problem. The plastic piece, thankfully, fit perfectly over the small bars of the greenhouse. My alternative was to secure it to the stake with some mason string, but that wasn't necessary. I'm not sure how getting them up again will go (I put four in) since I'm sure the plastic gets weaker as the sun and the elements wear on it, but I don't see me messing with them in the near future. Plus, they did just fine against some ~25 mph winds the other day, so I'm happy with them so far. With the plastic heads, I wouldn't recommend paying over a $1 per stake, but if you get them for less, it isn't much of a loss if they break, which will probably happen less if you use it on something that will be stationary for a while - like a greenhouse. That being said, I'd refer to some of the other reviews if you are looking for a more mobile application.

Chances are the stakes that came with your tent won't work well on gravel!
On our first outing with our Gazelle tent we tried to use the stakes that came with it to hammer into gravel. Lets just say that didn't work out very well. We couldn't even get the stakes into the ground without bending them up and making a terrible racket. We finally got them in but when it was time to go it was a beast getting them back out and most of them were mangled. We threw them right into the trash.THESE STAKES worked so, so, so much better on gravel. We put them in at a 45 degree angel to the tent and used a rubber mallet. They went in without any hassle and came out perfectly straight and without any hassle.I would highly recommend these to anyone camping in the state and national park sites that are gravel over dirt - they were AMAZING!

Does the job
Using this to stake down plastic grass over an area under a redwood tree where the grass struggles to grow at an apartment building. The plastic grass is getting old, but the stakes have held it in place for the past couple of years without budging. Has worked really well for that. Just make sure you are not pounding them in where you would hit the sprinkler pipe.

Excellent quality stakes
Great tent stakes. Same or better than the ones they change like $5 each for at the big box sporting goods store. They are quite long so make sure you visualize how long 10.5 inches is and that it will suit your needs. In my opinion it is a good length. Long and strong enough to secure my large canopies, but light enough that carrying a dozen or 2 isnt cumbersome. Generally the stakes provided with tents/canopies are trash that are too short and thin and bend easily. I always immediately trash them and use stakes like these.I dedicated a heavy duty canvas toolbag to holding my stakes, rubber mallet and spare ropes and such. They are sharp enough to easily poke through any type of normal fabric bags, but big box hardware stores have heavy duty toolbags that will do the job for under 10 bucks. The plastic hooks/eyes are convenient for tying down tent lines and are quite durable.I'm pleased with my purchase and if the price is right, definitely recommend these.

The only complaint I might have is they're a little bit too long and it would be nice if they have a fabric loop on the top ...
Very solid pegs and work on gravel and hard ground. The plastic piece is surprisingly solid that they dont break even if i hammered on it.The only complaint I might have is they're a little bit too long and it would be nice if they have a fabric loop on the top for easier pull. Also they're quite heavy so if you want something light to carry in your backpack, they might not be what you want

pegs
They look like they will do the job. It is still winter and I haven't used them yet because the ground is still frozen. I bought to use for a possible tent purchase

Solid pegs!
Great pegs for my winter hammock camping and car camping. Good and long, feel very durable. Not a peg for long treks to camp they are heavy as a full set so i will continue to use my MSR pegs for that. I recommend these despite weight. Carry 4 for your main corners and use lighter pegs for others.
