Nice Mini PC for the price
I bought this mini PC to replace an old mid size desktop I was using as my home server. I erased the pre-installed copy of Windows it came with, and installed Linux CentOS 8. It’s now my primary home media and file server. I have two external 8 TB drives connected to it via the included USB 3.0 ports. I run Plex Media Server, NFS, SMB, two Minecraft Servers, Xonotic server, and numerous other apps and scripts on it. In regards to performance I was impressed considering it only has a Celeron CPU. I/O over Samba and NFS range at the full gigabit speed topping out around 95 MB/s.Plex can handle practically an unlimited amount of concurrent streams if no one is transcoding video through it. It can handle about three concurrent transcodes going from 1080p down to 720p or lower. If you transcode 4K down to 1080p (very rare) it can do only one stream.Game servers run just fine on it. They all run 24x7 just like everything else, and I’ve never had the first complaint about performance even when the server is being heavily used for other things.Overall it’s been worth every penny for the low price. Just be aware you do get what you pay for. This is a $200 mini computer for a reason. It’s excellent for what I use it for, but I wouldn’t want a PC with this low of specs for desktop computing. With that said it may be just fine for someone who only surfs the web. It’s definitely faster than any of my Raspberry Pi’s.I included a picture of my small “home server shelf” that it sits on. It shows the size is nice for small spaces, and the low power consumption is a plus too since I have it on 24x7.

Poor quality, failed after four months.
I liked this PC well enough while it worked. Quiet, compact, speedy enough for what I needed. Then about 4 months after purchasing it, and only using it a few hours a week, it stopped powering up. It won't even get to a boot screen at all. Power supply voltage is good. Since it's all a single board computer there's really no components that can be replaced or repaired, so it's now a brick. Disappointing quality.Update:After my initial review the seller reached out, provides some basic diagnostics things to try, then sent a replacement PC out. The customer service earned it back to 4 stars, it's a good product so long as it works, but since I had issues I can't in good conscience give it the five star it would get if I hadn't had any problems.

Nice little powerhouse
If you are looking for a serious gaming computer please turn around and go elsewhere. If you are looking for a small computer to do serious multimedia work like video editing please turn around and look elsewhere. Please look at the system specs before you hit the purchase button. This computer is not meant to be the primary computer for your house. Yes it can play some light games and yes it can do some light video editing and photo editing assuming you install the appropriate software, but if you are a professional in any media field, say game development or a video editor this is not for you. However, if you need a computer to do some desktop publishing, type documents, web searching, social media and maybe a little light gaming such as Minecraft, Candy crush, clash of clans etc. This is a perfect machine for that. I bought this for my daughter who is in college to use in her cyber security classes and programming classes. I did that because I didn't want her to potentially mess up her primary laptop when she's learning all these new programs and technologies, and it's been awesome.

Makes a loud noice
I have waited about a year to write this review. I am so glad that I have insurance for this but I can't do anything about it right now as my kids are still in school. I purchased this for my 2 kids for school. Both worked pretty well in the beginning until they started making this very loud sound. It sounds like the compressor is struggling. I was just praying that it would keep working until they get out of school. Now we are at the end of the year and one is very loud and the other is pretty quiet but you still hear the sound. Now for how I feel about the computer. These computers are cheap and if you are looking for a computer that does not take a lot of room and you need it for a limited amount of time then this computer is great but most of us want to purchase a computer and keep it for at least 5 years. At least until it's outdated.....this is not the computer for that. I will contact amazon with my insurance once they are done with school.

Perfect for running the Plex server in my living room!
I use this to run the Plex server for my media files so I don't have to keep my main computer on all the time just so others in the house can watch shows. This little PC is perfect for our needs. I keep the shows on two 5TB USB 3 drives and this little bugger hums along quietly in our entertainment center below the TV. I purchased a blue tooth keyboard with a touch pad to use with it though I ended up connecting a wired track ball to it for ease of use. (I usually use the track ball with my security system but I never need it on both at the same time so they are doing fine sharing one.) Once this thing updated Windows I was unable to network it with my existing PC but then my existing PC can't see it either so I blame Microsoft rather than this nifty little PC for that issue. To get around that I store my data on the removable drives and edit them at my main PC as needed then return the drives to this little PC. (This is mainly because we have a 65 inch TV connected to this little PC and using it for more than a few minutes can cause eye, neck and back strain but this is not the fault of the little PC.) I recommended my dad get one of these for his needs.
