I purchased and returned 4 harnesses before finding this harness for my hard to fit fluffy Cardigan Welsh Corgi. I specifically wanted a harness to be used in the car. The person that wrote it didn’t come with a tether didn’t read, because this does not come with a tether. What do I love? The back piece is short making a better fit. The long backed ones fit over my corgis ribs and would break them if we actually were involved in a car accident. This has a nice sturdy piece that fits over my dogs chest area. The straps fit under/behind her arm pits and attaches to another square piece that fits between her shoulder blades. It hooks on at the top section, on top of the square piece. I love that because trying to attach on the side without getting her hair attached in the attachment is impossible. That problem is illuminated with this harness. It only adjust in two places. You move the straps easily between the solid parts for the perfect fit with a lot less fuss. It has two webbed loops on the back that attaches to the tether of your choice. It’s comfortable for the dog, has a solid breast portion that would spread out the area of impact in the case of an accident, it’s easy to adjust, put on, and attach to tether. I don’t use a harness for walks but this would double for that as well. The fit on my Corgi is also comfortable for walking and it has a place to attach a leash between the shoulder blades and on the dogs chest for untrained dogs that pull.I have the older car harness from coastal pet supplies for three other dogs. I’ve been happy with that harness as well and it has held up in years of use. However this one fits way better and is more user friendly.

This harness was so complicated, I could not get it on my dog. Where I live, there are no close return drop offs.

It is so easy to put on my Missy Girl. And once in the car it is simple to run the seat belt through the two straps and fasten. I didn’t do a review on chew proof and sturdiness because I haven’t used it long enough to give it a fair rating. But so far she hasn’t tried to chew on it. She is four months old and weighs 30 pounds already. Since she really hates riding in the car I have to lift he by the harness, so I would say it has to be pretty sturdy. All in all I am very pleased with this product and as fast as she is growing I will probably be buying the next larger size before too much longer.

Product says it come with a tether but it does not

Very happy with this harness. It secures my Scottie in the back seat tethered to the child car seat latch. She lays on a dog bed back there and is comfortable, safe and happy.

My harnesses arrived today. I am hapoy with them and they fit both pups. However, they did not come with the tether that was supposed to be included. I am not able to use them.as intended. Very disappointed pups who have been waiting patiently to go for a ride.

Easy to put on and take off. Works well to keep my dog from jumping around in the car yet she can still sit and stand.
