I Just Received the Sun In A Hand Held Form.
Durability and battery life unknown. I clicked the main beam to max, looked into the outer edge for a half second and felt like Mogwai (Gremlins movie) "AHHHHH BRIGHT LIGHT! BRIGHT LIGHT!!!" I bought it purely for the advertisement of 6000 lumen (apparently 1 single candle is about 1 lumen) and the 2600+ foot distance. Point it at the wall and about 5-7? feet at a guess in any direction before you reach the outer limit of the light. 12-15? feet outer edge to the other edge. So far I'm MASSIVELY Impressed by the light brightness alone. The side bar is impressive enough when you set it on the lens and can still see sideways. The power of the light it emits all by itself was worth the delivery wait and cost + tx. Knowing nothing about durability and recharge time/battery life, I'd still recommend this sun-in-your-hand. If this company knows nothing else, they know how to bring light to the pitch dark of night. I'd happily purchase this again. I'd even invest 50-75$ if they somehow made a Cree 3 bulb with 9k or Cree 4 with 15k lumen. (Hypothetically speaking). Even $150 would be a decent price. If you're careful and don't drop/use as a weapon then durability doesn't factor into much of anything far as I can figure. Maybe 1 day I'll fully charge then let it run full power until it dies then see how long it takes to charge. For now it's irrelevant to me.

I think it is worth the price.
I live on a few acres and needed a light to shine far away for spotting coyotes and other animals. For several months. I’ve been using my 1000 lm Dewalt spotlight that works very well but past 100 yards. Not so much. It’s bright with more of a flood light pattern but very sturdy. There’s a obvious build quality difference between these two spotlights. This Amazon model is much lighter in weight with cheaper plastic. Definitely not as sturdy as the Dewalt. That should be expected by anyone looking to buy this. However… I’m pretty sure it’s going to be plenty strong for what I need. Which is standing on my back porch looking for animals. I was very skeptical about it being 6000 lm and at first. I didn’t think it was until shining it outside. It has a wide beam overall but very tight spot light in the center. It is significantly brighter than my Dewalt. Simple to use, multiple functions, cheap price. I think it was well worth the money But have not tested the battery life yet. I might even buy a couple more.

The eye of god.
for my son to be able to be able to crawl around a basement that did not have any power at the time he pulled it out and noticed that when we turn it on it would shine a spotlight across the Arkansas River to the bank on the other side where cajun's Wharf was. At the end of the nickname the eye of God. Since then the past 3 years we have bought two more to give to his gifts one stays in our side by side out in the woods and one of my shop and the other one is supposed to be in my house someone is always borrowing their longstanding they hold a charge very well long-lasting dropping it has never been an issue 4 years no damage the sturdy as hell

Very bright
If you want to see something at a hundred yards or even more, this is the one to get. It projects a narrow beam and it has a flood light on the side so that it can be used for area illumination. I have noticed that this light is being used in a TV exploring show. The handle is different but the lamp body is the same as this one. I believe that since they chose this spotlight, they trust it in some very dark and dangerous places speaks volumes about it’s quality.

Not a good value.
Have had this item for less than a year. It wasn't expected to be used very often so I made sure to keep it in the original packaging so I could make sure I had the right charger for it. It has a very bright light and was used for some evening light on kayak fishing. I went to charge it for the third time yesterday and it did not work. I thought maybe I did something wrong so I checked instructions and found I was right and tried again. Plugged it in, red light came on showing battery was low and left it for about 8 hours. When I checked it the light was still red and I tried to turn it on. No light, no power. I electric testers and find the charger is working. The light / battery is not charging. I rate this as no durability and no battery life.
