GildanWomen's Heavy Cotton T-Shirt, Style G5000L, 2-Pack

I bought a 2 pack of round neck t-shirts and a 2 pack of v neck t-shirts.Sizing - I ordered the shirts in an XL because most women t-shirts tend to run small. These are true to size. Since the pink and blue shirts are 100% cotton, I am I assuming they will draw up a little if I place them in the dryer. While I usually do not put my shirts in the dryer, I will test dry this on one shirt to see what happens (I think the product description said some of the gray ones may not be 100% cotton).Material - The material is a tad scratchy but I am thinking they will soften up over time or with a little fabric softener. I like the weight and thickness of the shirts. They are not super thin to the point where the grab on every part of one’s body but they are not super thick/hot. The shirts can be worn with or without a cami without feeling exposed.

Color and size is spot on, if anything runs just a bit smaller- if you like your shirts roomy, size up. The material is thin, so if that’s what you want, this is it. If you’re looking for a bulky, beefier material— you may want to look for a single stitch cotton. Washes and dries well.

I can verify that these are definitely 100% cotton t-shirts, so they are cooler than the polyester blends. They WILL shrink some in the wash. If you separate colors in the wash, then you’ll be able to order any color offered. If you don’t separate colors in the wash (like me!) then don’t order the yellow or white which will turn grey, and don’t order any oranges, pinks, reds, yellows, or bright greens because they will bleed color in your laundry. I chose to purchase two of these shirts, light blue and dark blue, in the 2XL size. I probably ought to have ordered them in my regular XL size, or maybe even down to a large for a snug fit. However because of my overall “pear” shape, carrying all my weight in my belly, I do like some extra room. I figure these will certainly shrink down a bit in the wash. I will probably be back to order more of these tees. These t-shirts are very well made. There’s quality double-stitching everywhere. I’m really unsure what they mean by “heavy cotton” in the product description. These are cotton knit shirts. I have 100% cotton bed sheets, and I guess these shirts are maybe about as heavy as those. In other words, these shirts are lightweight but not see through. I’ll still wear a lightweight (zipper front) 100% cotton sports bra underneath though when I exercise in public. These shirts are made in Honduras. The tags are written tiny and I have a hard time reading their actual wash instructions- but it looks like they want you to wash & dry cold, delicate/low spin, to help keep them from shrinking. Turning them inside out before washing will also help preserve their color and their lifespan. Ok everyone! These are great shirts, cool, and comfortable. I hope this review might help your decisions.

The colors I bought were great, the fit was very good. Although for an XL was smaller.However, in my decades of clothes washing cotton tee shirts, sheets and any cotton attire I have never experienced such wrinkling as these shirts. I washed on gentle, cold water and dried on low prem press with a dryer sheet and the wool dryer balls. There was no way I could iron out those wrinkles, not that I will start ironing again. I put them in the washer for a quick rinse and hung them on a hanger. Better but couldn't even get them acceptably smooth with my hands. I will contact Amazon to see if I can still return them.It's too bad, the fit and colors were perfect, as was the fabric when new and unwashed. It must be the low quality of the fabric that wrinkled so badly.

The colors are bold and cute. The fabric is of lovely quality. Plus, it fits me well.

I accidentally bought this, thinking I was getting a polyester shirt for sublimation. Color and size look good but this is going to be a gift and will now need to be used for HTV. I wish it was easier to find polyester t-shirts from Gildan, on this site.

These didnt stand the test of time. Comfortable but look scrappy after a few months use

Bought for my mum. Ordered a size bigger for comfort. Material not very soft but acceptable (according to her).Much cheaper than buying from M&S in SG.
