Update: October 2020! ** 18m on ***After 18 month (Summers 2019 & 2020 + intervening Winter), this product has finally become weak and has split whilst (carefully) pulling it back over the car. I suspect UV damage. We did have a lot of sun (for the UK, although, the vehicle is shaded for some of the day!). Prior to that, the lining and car were wet after modest rain, which is probably worse than allowing it to air-dry without a cover!?The material does appear to have leaked (see below) and weakened along the original crease lines - perhaps because it was packed for a long time? Certainly, there's lots of the material that is still in reasonable condition.As mentioned below - check the fold lines for weakness/leaks (it was very tightly vac packed if I recall?) . They really should 'roll' the product up or similar? Also check for leaky seams/stitching.I will probably be purchasing this product again (though I will be have a look-see for anything better first! :)[Consider it done!! The others are soft, grey, 'porous-looking' material which found pretty useful (in comparison), so I am buying this one again - and doubling it over the old one! ;) ]Wow. All this for a car cover. I wonder if a huge tarp will suffice... mmmh...PREVIOUS UPDATE - After 1 year:(+) It's still in one piece!(+) Has outlasted previous covers of similar type/price(+) Hems all stayed intact(+) Straps all good.(+) Elastic still good too!(+) No UV damage (but might be a factor in the small 'cracks' mentioned above?)(+) It has NEVER BLOWN off!!(-) Unfortunately, the seams above the wingmirror pocket are leaking slightly (meets with other seams)(-) Also, very small 'cracks' have appeared above the wingmirror pocket, RHS. These appear to be where the item was originally folded in the package, so might be a one-off?So it leaks slightly at these points (and there is discolouration on the liner downhill of these points).(-/+) Too cozy! So cozy that a mouse moved into the engine bay (husks of nuts found, no nest thankfully)!!!FINAL SUMMARY - BUY IT:Would I buy again? Yes!But I would check for: (a) 'fold' or crease damage (b) Hems all secureLastUpdate: 31 July 2019:(-) Found 1 hem on zip was partly unstitched. Not worth returns hassle. Suggest check all hems on day 1.(+) Cover has stayed in place (strap under front end works well!).(+) Still intact, no visible UV damage so far, still dry!(!) Wing mirrors don't stay in cover-pockets: suggest using middle under-strap, or folding in mirrors.This is the third 'car cover' product I've tried - and it's the best so far:Outer material is very reflective - not subtle at all, but should reduce UV damage?Outer material is tough, not as soft as others I've tried.Inner material is smooth fabric - no more fluffy inner layer to catch in the hook and loop straps!Layers: can only see outer layers - so that'll be 2 that I can verify!The cover seems quite thin, but also tougher than others I've tried.Elasticated hems are stronger, broaderStraps are good quality: under middle, and at ends (I think).Size: "small" gets you something too big for an MX5 (I have 'gathered' the remainder at the rear using the velcro straps). But this is smallest I've purchased (others were "medium" and more like an mx5 tent!).The wing mirror pockets are actually useful: on the MX5 they line up well and are held in place with the elasticated front hem. The rear half is partly held in-place by the under-strap (but also 'gathered' and strapped at the rear as mentioned).The access zip is on the righhand side - good for UK/right-hand drives! The zip is sturdy, but there is no strap at the base, so not sure how it will stand up to high wind forces etc.Oh - and so far - the car is bone dry. No leaky seams (also a problem on the others I tried).

This is a good cover for the price. Far better than cheap tarpaulins. Not to say it's without its issues though. Could probably do with a bit more reinforcement around the strap areas and hem of cover, and the short ends of the strap need to only be a couple of inches long as you end up reaching under the vehicle to try and tighten the straps. Awkward at best. Apart from that it's lightweight and waterproof. Only a test of time will tell if there's any other issues. From first experience a decent buy for the money.

This Dripex Car Cover is just excellent. It is so easy to fit, with elasticated corners that fit snugly under the four corners of the car. Great to have a zip down one side, for easy access to the car. The material is strong, flexible and follows the contours of the car. Great value - I am just delighted with this purchase.

I’ve had my car not running (personal issues) and I needed some good cover as it’s parked under trees (fallen leaves, sticky thing from the tree, insects) and I got some and none of them fitted.This one not only fits but has straps to ensure the cover stays that way, it has hi vis strips to avoid accidents when dark and most important the price is reasonableTough material but not too heavy (I’m 5 foot 2 and fitted it on my own) good fit, and a zip to open the door without needing to remove all the cover, cannot recommend it enough, thanks

I bought this to shield my 3 series from the prodigious amounts of bird poop. We live in the countryside and it's really true that birds LOVE aiming at white cars..If TL;DR the below, basically the cover is excellent - it's very sturdy, tough waterproof material, but deducted 2 stars as the seams of the straps attaching to the cover tore away during a big storm.- I wouldn't bother with this if you use your car more than once a week.- It is a bit of a faff to put on/take off. But once you get the orientation of it and you've folded it right, it's easier.- It is shiny and visible AF and draws quite a bit of attention (and smirks/head shakes from neighbours).- When not in use, the cover takes up a lot of space so you have to find somewhere to dump it (but in a nicely folded manner).- If you store it outside, it seems to collect all the rainwater IN THE WORLD so you end up with wet shoes and legs every...single...time you pick it up.- 10/10 - Excellent thick material, well made and great for water/dirt/bird poo/dust - proofing.- Nice smooth interior. HOWEVER, when it was windy, it still scuffed the paintwork in the corners closest to the straps.- And finally, the seams that held the straps to the cover tore from the constant battering from the wind during the storm at the end of May 2021. I think it held pretty well against the storm. I have kept it (folded) in the shed just in case I need a good waterproof cover for a roof or something...

Best cover i have ever add. I do not use the straps as i do not need to, it has very good elasticated back and front that holds it on i have had the biggest one they do and my is Vauxhall Cascerder soft top.Only had it from This November but we have had very bad winy days and very heavy rain and my car is still dry. So only time will tell.I now found a problem with it now 2023 the fabric has cracked on the back of car on the boot, and has gone green underside and wet now. I got it November 2021. I am not sure if that time is normal.But after saying this i have sent for a 2nd cover, as 1st one needs to go in the bin.

j'utilise ce produit pour protéger ma voiture des custe de feuilles, branches, poussières, sèves des arbres et qui vienne tacher ou salir ma voiture, de plus la toile garde bien la voiture au frais, elle s'accroche bien grace que clips qui passe sous la voiture et donc lorsqu'il y a du vent elle ne s'envole pas.
