I recently bought these for my brother and he used them an indoor shooting range. He wore them with ear plugs for extra protection. Before, he said that it was hard to talk to people at the range, but with these on, he can now communicate much more easily with the people that he goes with. He also said that these were very comfortable. Note that these are not good for woodworking since the low hum of the machines gets amplified instead of being muted, but these work great for activity with sudden very loud sounds, like shooting.

For the price, this was great. I dinged a star because when the wind blows hard, with no one shooting, the noise reduction kicks in and cannot hear the range instructors speaking. Would be great for the wind frequency to be ignored since it seems to be quite different from the bang of the guns. Others with more expensive cans also had wind problem.

I wear them shooting and mowing the lawn. The jack hooks up to my phone to get some tunes while on my tractor.

Got these MPOW ear muffs for the shooting range. When I first put them on I could not tell if they were working. I could hear myself talk but I heard no other noise, couldn't even tell if I had turned them on. Then my son spoke and i could hear him perfectly, I guess they're working. We went in the back yard to shoot at some targets. Were both shooting Walther 9mm. Man these things work great. I only heard a delayed echo sound of the shot like 1-2 seconds later. Sounded like it was an echo way off into the mountains (which we don't have). Yet when my son spoke again the sound was true and perfect. He did let me try his muff (a different brand) and they were a little echo-y. Like being in a tunnel. Even some feedback sound. But the MPOW were crystal clear and natural sounding. I would definitely get these again!

i automatcally give a company that pay's for review's 3 star's, just cause i think that's super shady. these guy's also made a note not to send a picture of this little card the send in the box stating that..."for your amazon account secririty do not attach this card picture on your review when you leave a review" ( there is no sensitive account information on the card it'self and appear's to be printed in bulk.)the reason it get's dropped down to a two is cause it simply doesn't do what i want it to do, yeah the sound dampening isn't great, but i knew that when i bought it and it's enough for me... if you're out at the range, even outdoor's it might not be good enough. the overall feel of it is cheap, but it's a 25 dollar item so it is cheap, but it come's with a bunch of feature's, and it is actually quite comfortable to wear, so that doesn't move my review either.the reason it's at two is cause i had reason to believe that when connected to my phone, it would would still play the sound's of the environment around me so i could hear my parent's when they talked to me, and be able to play podcasts at the same time. which it doesn't do at all, it instead shut's off the outside noise.overall you might not care about any of the issues that make this a two for me, so this might be a five for you for all i know, as for me i'm gonna return it in just a little bit.

I purchased these earmuffs/headphones to use with power tools and kitchen appliances (e.g., blender), as well as for computer audio while blocking out other noises (vacuum cleaners, lawn mowing). As earmuffs, they are fantastic. They're comfortable, adjustable, and block out noise as efficiently as any earmuffs I've used. As headphones, they have great audio fidelity and sound quality and are excellent at blocking out external noise. When using in powered (listening) mode, they are fairly good. In this mode, they are excellent at picking up voices and letting you hear anything that's said around you. They also block out external sound levels that could be damaging or painful. But you still hear all of the external sounds, so it's not useful for eliminating distraction from that noise. However, as hearing protection that still lets you hear speech and important sounds, that mode could be very practical. All in all, at this price point, I would definitely recommend these.

These are AWESOME. Cheap and efficient! Get a pair before they back up the price! Haha... Only wish they were a little bigger. I've got a big head, and these just barely fit. However, well worth the borderline comfort. Haha I wear these for shooting and hunting. Best headphones AND rechargeable! Would love to get another few pairs if they ever make a larger size...

The ear pro seem well built for the price point, good fit and finish and actually comes with a usable good quality aux cable. Time will tell as far as extended wear comfort and durability. Compared to my more expensive brands they seem on par or better as far as first look quality.The nosie cancellation works quickly and it amplifies well. I am excited to try them out shooting, which will be the real test of them.
