This is garbage. I got one through another company, not through Amazon. It is the same exact item though. If you swing it too hard even in the slightest it will pop out of alignment and you won't be able to retract back. If you use it as a self-defense weapon, as it was advertised in the company that I got it, if you hit someone with it it will likely do the same thing
