I paired this with a clear plastic vertical ID pouch and created IDs for all the volunteers for a rock concert. I bought 48 bright orange for this event and had to shorten 2 of them for children. I also have purchased 6 blue, 6 pink, 6 green and 6 purple for a Girl Scout camping trip and shortened them as well. Pictured below show how I pried open the clasp to trim and remelt the ends then reinserted them and closed the clasp back...Good as new, only better because it's the right size for a child. These are a nice quality at a great price ($7.45/6 lanyards). Will purchase for future events as well.

Great product for the price. I have to carry an ID and a ring of many, many keys for work, and we also MUST have breakaway lanyards. My keys were heavy enough that they kept unsnapped the breakaway for the lanyard my employer gave me, so I decided to give these a try because the breakaway appeared to be a little bit more heavy duty. I'm glad I gave it a try! I love the vibrant colors, and while they breakaways do breakaway easily when pulled, they do not come undone by my heavy keys! Also, you can't beat the price :)

Note I haven't personally used these — I send to my theme park and cruise clients to keep their room keys, park tickets, dining cards, etc. organized. They have a good quality feel to them. Lanyard fabric is ½" width. I haven't had any complaints, but I personally don't use them after they leave my office.I wish we had the option to order these with a higher quality lobster-claw or different style hook, I would not mind to pay a little more for that HINT HINT.I have been ordering the packs of 12 with heavy duty badge holder included, but this time opted to order just the lanyard and ordered larger badge holders from a different seller instead and it worked out to be about the same price.

I got them for my 8 year old.. she’s not very good at keeping track of her things so I thought they would prevent her from loosing her masks. First off - they are very hard to put on. I broke a nail almost every time. And then my daughter just wouldn’t use them anymore.

The colors are just as vivid as the pictures on Amazon. I bought these for when my children go back to school to attach to their mask so if they drop it, it won’t fall to the floor. The breakaway feature is great in case other kids try to yank on it. Haven’t really had to use it yet so assuming the sturdiness is just fine (will update if that ends up not being the case).

I used/modified this as a strap for a communication book. I wanted the breakaway mechanism to keep it from being a choking hazard, but it's a bit weak. whenever I would put it on my/the child's shoulder, it would break away immediately and send the attached binder to the floor, which defeated the purpose. To be fair, the binder is ~2 lbs, which is likely heavier than the lanyard was made to handle. If you're wanting to use it as a lanyard with a couple cards on it, it would probably work great. The nylon is pretty thin, but it does the job.

Read a ton of reviews before selecting these. Love them. Got to go with a bunch of Storm whistles. I also bought for new mom's so wanted the breakaway lanyards for safety purposes. They are perfect. Love the colors. I'm so glad I settled on these to go with my whistles. I don't leave the house to go on our 40 acres without one around my neck.

Good quality for the price. Colors are nice and bright. Clasp at back of neck works well and is secure but will release easily if pulled. Personally I would not wear anything around my neck like this without a quick release clasp for safety reasons. Would definitely recommend these.
