this chair is quite comfortable and sturdy and looks great. however, the finish was a bit thin and does not prevent damage to sharp edges or corners. i have found a few splinters with my leg that loosened because the protective coating was not properly applied to prevent them. i have applied my own coat of polyurethane and it is now almost perfect. TO THE MANUFACTURER: A suggestion. Apply a thicker coat of poly or multiple coats. Quality control is important.

I didn’t want to spend a ton of money but love these chairs and wanted a sturdy option to last longer than the plastic kind. When my package arrived some of the pieces were split and nicked but it wouldn’t necessarily show once the chair was assembled so I kept it. While I was assembling the chair I noticed one of the arms didn’t lineup, like I got two of the same side so I had to break off a little piece and ended up gluing it to the other side to make the chair work. I did get a small splinter one of the times but overall I still enjoy my chair.

The ottoman is flimsy and the legs don't tighten in place. The Chair itself has to re-tightened regularly.I will soon be making necessary adjustments and modifications and then the chair will be solid. Much like the ones I build from scratch that are light years better.

Good to sit in and looks cute

We ordered two of these chairs. They are nice chairs once you get them together but I don't think they'll hold up for long. We were missing the entire bag of parts for the one chair and some of the pieces were damaged. I went back and forth with the seller a few times. They wanted photos and part #s for the broken pieces. After three messages I just gave up. We purchased some screws at the local hardware store and put the chairs together like that. They look nice enough. The foot rests come assembled but are very wobbly. Will need to be tightened up.

I purchased 4 chairs/ottoman's so my family could sit around the fire pit this Fall. They arrived fast and fairly easy to assemble but it would have been helpful to have correct directions....the directions in 3 boxes were mislabeled which made me go based on the picture alone; luck would have it that the last box contained updated instructions with correct labeling. We have not used these items as of yet and therefore cannot give my opinion on the use. Most of the parts came already assembled but the screws in one of the ottoman was screwed too tightly and the wood arrived split completely being held in place by the wood (I contacted the seller asking for a replacement of this particular ottoman).

This is a very low quality wood, and although it seems fairly sturdy once constructed, the wood is likely to split or break with little effort. It is a very light pine that feels almost like balsa wood level of lightness. Some pieces were damaged in the box, some already split from the screws of the assembled parts. This chair comes about 40% assembled and the rest is up to you, with no labelling on the parts you have to match it to vague fotos, but you'll get through it. More likely than not, this won't last 2-3 months without something else breaking.

My chair came in exactly when it was supposed to, but when I began assembling it, a chunk had come off the ottoman and one of the screws was stripped. I emailed the company and Nancy got back to me immediately and fixed the problem. They were so easy to work with and I love, love, love my new chair! It's perfect next to my firepit and vege garden area!
