My daughter got 1st place in her girl scout derby dash with the aid of these.They are very dense and fit perfectly with the right forstner bit.Make sure to put them as far back in the car as you can....good luck !

Worked great for Pinewood Derby
These weights were easy to use and all had the same diameter. I just drilled holes at an angle down from the back of the wood block and inserted them. With just proper weighting and polishing the axles, we got around 195mph, according to the race software. If we had optimized the body design, it would have done better.

I liked the options on pre-set weights.
These worked for what I needed but probably not the best choice! I glued these to a pinewood derby car so it cancelled the aerodynamics of my car and it took forever for the glue to dry and the weights to stay glued in the correct place since they rolled! I liked the accuracy and the size selection but maybe flat weights vs the round.These have no glue so they do not adhere to anything! Babies and toddlers will try to eat these. I did not test the accuracy of these! They were not easy to use for my intended situation. They did work and worked well. I needed more than I purchased. I might buy again in the future but I will probably try another option like Car tire weights!

Less dense than 99.5% tungsten weights
This metal appears to be less dense than tungsten. The photo shows a 0.5 oz 99.5% tungsten cylinder on the left and a 0.5 oz cylinder from this set on the right; the one from this set is 15% larger. Maybe it is an alloy. It was too big for our PWD car body. Otherwise nice weights.
