Patrick Mahomes: The Amazing Story of How Patrick Mahomes Became the MVP of the NFL (The NFL's Best Quarterbacks)

This was interesting reading about Patrick Mahomes but I felt mislead by the age 8 - 12 rating. There are no pictures in the book and some of the vocabulary seems beyond kids this age. Great detail for football fans but wasn't what I was expecting.

So, although it is clear that an editor was not utilized, errors aside, the book itself is ok. What is strange to me is the 23 pages randomly stuck in the middle of the book that are a "Call to Prayer" with lots of book and verse Bible reference. No one else has mentioned that... is it just the book we received?

I bought this book for my 77 YO mother who is obsessed with Patrick. The book was easy for her to read and comprehend and she said the best thing about it was it didn't contain all that "football jargon", it was more written for a younger reader but she enjoyed it very much. She has already read it three times.

My 10 year old son read this for a book report. He really liked it.

Bought this for my 10 yr old grandson who loves football and is a great fan of Patrick Mahomes. He is not however a fan of reading, but loved this book. In fact his parents said that instead of the usual battle to gave him read each day he begged to stay up and finish the chapter he was reading.

Well anything about Patrick Mahomes is the perfect gift!! My mom is a HUGE fan at almost 80-years old. She is not much of a reader but. Oils t put this book down!!!
