Gorilla Tape Tough & Wide Black 27m (Pack of 6)

I love this stuff. Exactly what I was looking for. Firstly it's wide (about the length of a thumb) you also get a lot of it (I believe 27m - which is a lot considering the strength) - It's pricier than most duct tape type rolls, but worth it in my opinion.As to purpose, this stuff could be used for just about any type of repair jobs - For me personally I had an office chair that should have lots of life left in it structurally, but the leather had worn away with use. Seemed a shame to bin a £200 chair just because of leather fraying. So instead I patched it up with this. It might not be the most attractive repair job in the World, but it does exactly what I needed it to.This is just one of a million things you could use it for. Also worth noting is easier to tear than most duct tapes, and significantly stickier! Great product.

this version of gorilla tape is great because it is WIDE. I use it mainly to stick 1*1m carpets together, which i use under the inflatable pool so the kids don't hurt themselves (my garden is paved). Usually, I buy a roll every season and i scotch each side of the carpet to the next piece, creating the shape and size i need to fit the different pools we have bought over the course of the years. I empty the pool almost every night (I know, waste of water- but i prefer this since i do not want mosquitoes!!!). usually, the tape holds well even if wet but if I move the carpets around when wet, chances are that they will come apart. I think it is a great product as it usually resists an entire month of wet and dry with just one application.

I have used many tapes over the years, and that one top them all. It is extremely solid and sticky. I have used it for all kind of things, home DIY, car maintenance, tent repairs, etc. It has never let me down and worked way above my expectation. It is just a great product and now I could not imagine not having it as part of my tool kit.I would recommend you do not try to save a couple of pounds by buying a lower end version. This one will work cheaper in the end. You will never have to reattach the same thing twice, well worth the money!

WOW.I have used the silver type duct tape, and even the Duck one, but boy does this stick.Used it on some drain pipe joints, and it did the job.One word of advice, make sure you line up the tape before applying, as once its on, its a real bugger to get it off.

This sticks really well used it to patch repair some black torn plastic fabric on a bed that has gas sprung lift for under-bed storage. One of the bolts had sheared and the bed caught and sliced the inner lining on the bed frame surround support. I replaced the sheered bolt and patch repaired the damaged fabric with this Gorilla Tape. The end result of the repair is that it looks like the added patch was part of the manufactured intended product. I am very happy with this product.

Its OK. I cant really see the difference between it and regualr duct tape. I used it to repair the seems on my luggage and the surface is very irregular and flexible. the tape sticks OK but its clear that where there are undulations that it lifts off so to speak. Essentially it didn't GRIP LIKE A GORILLA. It sort of stuck on and some edges and corners lifted off and its only a matter of time before dirt gets under them and the sticky goes completely and it starts to peel off. It worked for one trip and will work for another, but its not a miracle tape as I was hoping, rather just fancy duct tape with a tougher top layer.

Very impressed with this tape. I bought it essentially to repair the split hose on my vacuum cleaner. It has made a really good repair and the adhesion/thickness of tape was incredible. I believe this will be a durable repair. My husband also used some of the tape to repair a small leak hole on the water butt and although it is early days yet it has made a firm seal and no more leaking! I think there are numerous things one could repair with Gorilla Tape. It is a very large reel and really wide (but of course could be cut to width size required) so should deal with most repair requirements. Excellent product.

.... firstly to repair some winter covers that I have for benches in my garden which had worn and torn in the gales and rain from this last winter and so needed something that would stick to material and cover the rips. This seems to be working very well and although the weather has not been bad since, the patch is sticking well.Secondly, I have a large plastic garden storage box which the same gales had ripped the top off of and so had a couple of holes from hitting objects as it was blown around. Again this tape has stuck well, both to the plastic and to itself making a need patch over the holes!
