Good value replacement for the money. Fairly easy to install

1. Assembly required.2. Don’t assemble while on top of trailer.3. All pieces have sharp edges so be careful.4. Be sure to crank full open your existing trailer vent.5. Make sure hinge curve faces inwards so it can slide onto your existing hinge on the original frame.6. Make sure you bend tabs to align sliding off your existing broken cover and then remember to bend the back so the new vent stays in position.7. The screws and nuts for this vent cover are tiny so do the assembly in a place where if you drop them you can find them easily.8. The cover quality exceeded that of the original (plastic seems thicker).9. Don’t buy one when you can buy two. You never know when the next tree branch or squirrel will damage the vent cover again.10. I can’t stress enough the metal rail and plastic edges of the cover are SHARP! So be careful!11. These covers were well worth the price. I wish they were pre assembled but in some applications I could see why they would not be.

The edges on the tracks are incredibly sharp. Treat them as such to avoid getting cut like I did.

These plastic caps dry out with time and driving distance and eventually need to be replaced. My old one had reached that point of needing replacement as it was literally crumbling. I ordered this 2 pack so that I'd be ready with a second when it was time to replace again. The quality is good and installation was easy once I figured out how to remove the old cap. I would definitely recommend these.
