I have bought 3 and will never buy again
I have bought 3 of these for my kids. Two was at the same time for a birthday. Another was for my son going overseas. One of them the band wore completely out before a year. They would not replace the band. They said it wasnt the watches fault. Another the spring broke within 2 weeks of wearing it so it wasn't usable his whole trip overseas. I am waiting to find out if they will fix it or tell me this too is not under warranty. The 3rd one has been fine, but the band is wearing horribly and looks trashy. Very disappointed in service and brand.

Only but from dealer
Any time I buy these from surf shops they always get water damage immediately. Buy on here through retailer. If so, absolutely perfect for long water sessions. No issues. Lasts about 2 years before it starts to need a new battery or parts wear out. You can also send back to company for a price to have them put new parts on it when they get old

Great watch. Basic and easy to read which is all I wanted. In the past I’ve been using g shocks but the battery’s have been dying too fast, probably due to all of the new functions so I wanted something easier. Nice color shop schemes as well, this is the third shark I own now.

Dead after 6 months and 1 swim
Do not buy this watch or any Freestyle watch and expect it to last. This was my daughter's Christmas gift. She had it 6 months and it stopped working after 1 swim. The water rating says it is good for swimming and surfing. Freestyle says the warranty is void since I had the battery checked first and will only look at it for another $25.. Nowhere in the manual does it say the battery must be changed by Freestyle or the warranty is void. That information is buried on their website. Either way, the product was dead before the back was ever accessed. The Freestyle customer service and quality is beyond disappointing. I will never buy or recommend a Freestyle USA product. My cheap $20 watch has lasted for years after countless trips in the pool and lake while the $65 Freestyle USA version sits dead in a drawer after only a few months.
