Planet Bike Full bike fenders - 26" x 60mm (black)- Fits Up to a 50mm Wide Tire

We moved up to the Pacific Northwest and it's a lot wetter up here! 🤣 These fenders work great on my Specialized mountain bike, even with my off-road tires. They are long enough to go low over the backs of my tires; now I don't get sprayed when I ride through puddles. They are super light so the bike feels the same. You'll probably have to be a little careful not to smash them due to the light weight.To use them with my front shocks I had to do a bit of custom work. First, I bought a couple of insulated cable clamps to attach the front stays. (they should probably include those because there are so many mountain bikes out there) I also had to cut the stays shorter due to where I was attaching (that was easy). I also drilled a small hole in the back of the center part of the fork. (it's aluminum alloy so it was easy to drill)All in all, these are just what I was looking for. They should work for most bikes but may need a touch of ingenuity for mountain bikes. I would highly recommend these. 😊

I have a pair of 1986 Schwinn Beach Cruisers I purchased these fenders for. At my time of purchase (03-08-21) they were priced at $29.95. I am very satisfied with the fenders and would purchase again. The poly-carbonate material they are manufactured with seems to be very durable. Considering that these are a universal fit they will need to be modified for your specific bike. My particular install required the shortening of the braces that are attached to the fender that connect to the fork and rear dropout, then the adjustment of the brace length to get the perfect fit. This is easily done with a dremmel or a grinder with a metal cut off wheel or simply with a hacksaw. See pictures for more detail. The mounting hardware for the fork and rear dropouts that were supplied did not fit my bikes. I purchased the correct size from my local hardware store.

Turns out my bike doesn't have a single fender mount. Not near the dropouts, or either frame bridge and certainly not on the fork. I had to really jerry rig this thing to go on my bike, including drilling out one of the frame bridges and attaching clamps at different points and bending the front fender wires so they would screw into my V-brake bosses. Some frame/fork clamps would be a nice option.Other then that, yeah, they're nice fenders. Nice clean look and survived my manhandling so they're pretty tough too.

These were pretty easy to install and seem decently sturdy.

These are solid, lightweight fenders, with enough hardware to fit most rim-brake bikes with old-school MTB-style tires (26"x1.95" for mine). That said, my bike has disc brakes and halfway through the install I realized that the straight-line struts would not fit around the disc-brake assembly on the wheel hub to get to the fender mount. I had to return these and get the Planet Bike Cascadia fenders instead.

The fenders were easy to install and adjust. I put them on my old mountain bike that I use as a commuter bike. The look great and work really well. There is not a lot of clearance, so I have had to tweak them on occasion to stop them from rubbing on the tire. I would buy these again.

Product uses very cheap materials. Screws will strip under very slight pressure, hight sliders do not hold position under maximum tightness, instructions are minimal and very confusing. Everything is very flimsy and is a very frustrating installation, and even more frustrating removal. Even attempting to save the product with zip ties was even more disappointing. Item is not worth its value and I do not recommend.

They look like metal, but are a tough polycarbonate plastic. I had to modify the rear one since I have 2.4" tires on my bike that *barely* fit. Cutting the fender was easy. Got both mounted in about 40 minutes, even with the customization on the rear one! Great, easy to install product!
