Fits my Miller Digital Infinity Perfectly!
Yes, you read that right. This is the only headgear that fits my head, so I have it on every hood I own. Some hoods required some light filing to get the gear to fit, but Miller Digital Infinity hoods have identical mounting points.Fantastic!

Nice Head Gear But Needs The Old Diamond Tread Back Pad For A Viking 3350
I decided to get this Lincoln viking headgear for my 3350 viking helmet that i bought in 2017 then i was going to take the old headgear out of it and put it in a Hitbox hood i got that i only use for Tig Welding.aaaaaawell once I got it in the Viking 3350 Hood I could barley keep it on my head and the reason why is the viking hoods come with a diamond treat rubber back piece so mwhen you tighten it up it stays on your head, A viking 3350 hood is a heavy hood and with this new 6 point head gear the back is almost like the way China makes there head gear and when you have hair it just wants to slide around and that is the reason i read so many guys saying they can;t get it tight enough. So i thought i would just swap the back pads well that won't work because since they are made in china now there not the same so i ended up putting the $50.00 head gear in the Hitbox hood and putting my original back in the viking hood.If you have a 3350 Viking hood I would say your better off with the 4 point head gear then the 6 point head gear if they still sell it with the black diamond tread pad because that pad is what keeps it from sliding around. Now I do like this new 6 point head gear but they need to put a different back pad in it because the way it is it's only good for light hoods like the ones China makes and since Lincoln is having there head gear made in China Now I don't see that changing ever.I took some pics of the two hoods with the head gear in them and you can see that the viking hood head gear has heavier plastic in it and is just all around more beefy and was still made in the USA in 2017. Now this head gear works great in my Hitbox hood but if you own a Viking 3350 you might want to see if the 4 point head gear still has the back diamond tread pad in it, if it does i think your better off with that head gear at least it doesn't slide around and it stays on your head.I.m happy with the way things worked out but if i had to do it again i sure wouldn't spend $50.00 on head gear to put in a $70.00 Hood and if there is a next time all be looking into the 4 point head gear. I'm doing this review so maybe it might help some of you out in the long run, I have been welding 30+ years for a living so i do have a little experience about what i'm trying to say because when i was reading some of the reviews i really couldn't understand why some of them were having problems keeping the hood tight on there head, well now i know why and you will know why too if you read this review.Thank You For Reading

Replaced my Antra headgear
Replaced my Antra headgear with this Lincoln piece to fit my huge melon head. Not Antra’s fault. Had to carefully cut the round hole into a square after carefully measuring. Feel much more secure and comfortable to wear over my weld cap. Highly recommended retrofit to make almost any helmet even better.

Works Perfect!
My wife is a Dental Hygienist and due to her profession and COVID-19 face shields are required Protective gear. Due to the shortages of face shields what was being supplied was a clear piece of plastic about as thin as a piece of paper that has a strap and a foam block glued to it. Needless to say it was not comfortable and also required her to wear a cap which made her hot. The other thing is Dental loupes could not be worn because of how close to the face the shield was.I had a safety shield used in construction I thought would fit the bill. It had the same problem with being to close to the face. It is also quite a bit heavier. I removed the headgear that came with the shield, made some aluminum brackets that attached to the shield at the temple area and extended in the direction of the back of the head, only about an inch or so.This headgear attached to the brackets I made and allowed for fine tuning the distance from the face. What is also awesome is the single knob to tighten and loosen the headgear. When tightened she could literally be upside down and the shield would not fall off. It holds the shield from moving, so much so that I attached a small spot headlight to the shield (spot is only 1.5" x 1.5" at 3' away). The single knob also make it far easier to deal with contamination as only a single hand is needed to remove the headgear. This is a HUGE deal when working in an environment that has possible virus contamination. My wife has gotten many comments about the shield and headgear. Maybe I should start making these things.....

Comfortable and fits off-brand hood
My hood wasn't staying up so I took a chance on this headgear. It fit my ToolGuyRepublic (TGR) panoramic hood perfectly!
