Loved all the films.

Packaging is good quality and arrived intact. There are 7 discs in a double sized blu ray case. Only criticism is that there's no booklet inside that expands on each movie. The back cover only details the specs, extras etc.

Item arrived damaged, due to poor packaging. The content of the discs are great.

These set of films feature a lot of stop motion techniques and minuter sets that help tell the story of these films as well as using traditional sets and some special effects. These set of films are a mixed bag as some of them are talky pictures with a bit of special effects thrown in them, some are driven by the effects themselves. All of the films are very different from one another though. One of the highlights from this box set is Earth vs flying saucers which tells the story of a alien invasion using traditional sets and it features some good special effects scenes in it.

The Flying Saucers was only The movie from Ray That didn't feature any Mythical creatures conjured up by The legendary creator of stop motion instead he conjures up a herd of Flying saucers The female lead in Earth VS. The Flying Saucers was Joan Taylor an actress most associated with westerns you usually see her playing Indian Girls. one Marvellous Extra in The collection for me included a candid interview with Joan Taylor. Ray and his Team must have liked what They saw in Joan as she was cast in another one of his movies 20 Million Miles To Earth. on This collection see and hear The actress reminisce on her Time working on Rays movies. A star studded collection filled with star studded Extras for These movies yes The movies have been released previous as single packaged Disc's Though To get These Titles all under The same roof so To speak is Truly remarkable . The collection comes lavishly packaged in one solid casing supporting your seven Discs with artwork on The front and back covers showing you a montage of The many wonderful stop Motion creatures created by Ray Harryhausen across all seven movies. will it be The Giant Octopus from It Came From Beneath The Sea, Talos from Jason And The Argonauts, The Cyclops from The 7th Voyage Of Sinbad. There all here waiting To be let loose again on your imagination. and with That in mind This collection comes Highly recommended.

What can you say, classic films from the golden era. Childhood memories come flooding back. The special effects are simply sublime. Great for a present for Mr Welsh Witch

At the time of writing, if you live in the UK, the only way to get this Blu-ray set is to import it from Australia. I can tell you, it is the best Blu-ray collection for Harryhausen fans. Fortunately for me, it didn't get flagged by Customs :)EDIT: The Australian seller “DVD Marketplace” has since increased the price from £39.99 to £59.99. This is outrageous. My review does not apply to this new price – that is far too expensive. Reviews should automatically contain the price paid for the item at the time of writing!

I grew up on these movies and even though the special effects are old school , I thoroughly enjoy them all. Some classics just stay with you. Even my sons enjoyed watching them. It was also nice that this collection is all on blu-ray which made the quality of the pictures great. If you're like me and enjoy the classics, I highly recommend this set.

Loved these as a kid and love them now. Older movies of mythology stories.

Haven’t watched them all yet, but what I have is stupendous. Really fun watching with my grandkids. Highly recommend this to everyone.
