I do not recommend this for marine aquariums as it will rust within a day, unless you willing to rinse it in fresh water after each use do delay it from rusting to few months. For Fresh water i believe its perfect.

Do not place in an aquarium, they will rust very quickly which can kill you fish. Only ever use outside an aquarium.

Went to use clip and it broke, tried the next one and it broke. All 4 broke. Total waste of money..

Do not buy this item because it contains metal that will rust and contaminate the water.
