It has been easy to use and very reliable
I have owned and used the casio kl-750 label printer (same one) for well over ten years. I keep worrying that casio will discontinue the tape for this machine. My wife and I label EVERYTHING. It has been easy to use and very reliable. We bottle in the fall and label all of the lids on the jars. We label pump dispensers and bulk item containers. I label wires used in electrical runs. I find it best on them to fold the tape back over itself. I make labels for servicing the vehicles. The list goes on and on. VERY HAPPY with the unit.

Label Maker, heart breaker
Needed a reliable label maker. Form factor and functions meet my requirements. However, this turned out to be a completely unreliable label maker. After a short period of successful usage, the tape stop advancing, seems the pulling motor is not strong enough. New batteries did not help. This label maker ended up in the trash can.

Printer Good - Tape Bad
I've had this printer for quite some time. My experience is that the printer itself works well, is versatile, and runs on an A/C adapter or batteries. But the genuine Casio tape STINKS! And I assume there is no other brand that can be used? We use a functionally-similar Brother-brand printer at work and the tape sticks like glue. So, I'm going to have to find a different printer just because of the lack of stickiness of the Casio tape.

NOT WORTH THE PRICE
I have owned this label maker for more than five years, it is my only label maker. I LOVE the machine. I hate the tapes!!! Removing the backing on the tapes is VERY difficult for me (backing should be split -- see Epson) and the glue "wears out" in a short time (less than a year). Given the above, I have still used the machine A LOT and only curse it when it is time to buy new tape. $10.00 per roll is robbery. Because of the tape's lack of lastine glue and its cost per roll I can't give the machine more than three stars (measuring the machine by itself I would give it a five). Also, yes it takes a lot of batteries but they seem to last almost forever (more than a year with heavy usage).A computer connection would result in my devoting too much time to designing tapes and not enough time printing them! Don't want it, thanks.

SIMPLY PUT- A WELL MADE PRINTER
I have had this printer since around 1994. It has its quirks, but as far as a long lasting product, this is well made. Sure the tape binds sometimes, but that's easy to deal with. We moved into a new house about 4 years ago, and I found it in a forgotten box just recently. It had batteries in it, and they were a corroded mess. I cleaned the battery compartment up, but the contacts were gone. But it still works like a champ using the A/C adaptor. After almost 4 years stuffed in a box full of other forgotten items including dried up white out, ruined scotch tape and masking tape, melted and hard rubber bands, etc. That says a lot. It works equally well with OEM or off brand tape and I was quite surprised to find it and the label tape still available! Seriously, this printer has what it takes, not only to get the job done, but get it done so far for 27 years and counting...!

The label take too long to remove the backing. It is ridiculous.
