Nice set. Not super bright but good for mood/accent lighting which is what we wanted. Placed on the front soffit overhang of a log cabin inside a metal channel and it gives a nice warm glow to the cabin. Can change the light color for a new look anytime and the schedule function in the smarthome app makes it easy to turn on at dusk and off at 11pm. Easy to get the key in the door now with the light.The WiFi in the house reaches across the lawn about 30 meters to the cabin and it works well. I was worried about the WiFi range but happy it works every time.Tried the “music” sync and yes it does make the lights dance with the beat but be aware the lights themselves don’t have the microphone built in. It uses the phone’s microphone so you need to have the app open and play music on your phone or sit the phone next to a speaker. The product description made it sound like there was a built in mic but there isn’t. It’s fine though... it works.The light stand comes with a power connector on each end which is handy for a diy’er if you want to cut the strip into two lengths... you can power both halves without having to solder anything. Just buy a “Y” RGB cable splitter and you can run both halves off the one power supply and controller.

I purchased this led strip as I wanted something to replace my old led strips. I wanted smart home functionality built in so that I could control them with my google home device.They came packed well and in great condition. I chose to mount them to some aluminium led strip extrusion on the top of my wall. Because of this I didn't get to test the adhesion, but it feels pretty sticky so it should stick to any clean, flat surface.Connecting the strips to the app was very easy. Once you've liked your account to the Google home app your lights will be available and treated as any other smart bulb. Through Google home you can change the colour and brightness.The leds are very bright and are easily enough to light my room.

Used for under kitchen cupboards. The quality of the strip is great and takes some trimming if you want to fit connectors. The standard adhesive that come with these strips struggles against kettle steam though unless the surface is squeaky clean/new (can be sorted with some additional extra-strength adhesive). Love having the Alexa activating functionality. Shame the converter isn’t separate from the plug, so you can choose to wire it in at 12V instead of plugging it in at 24V. An additional connecting lead would’ve been great too, but all told it’s a well priced and neat LED strip set.

The media could not be loaded.  I used the smart life application compared to the recommended Tuyo as my whole Alexa experience with non Alexa skill specific products run through smart lifeThe lights give that show room feel, the reel has a extender at the end incase you purchase more to extend the lengthThe app experience is great! I can change the brightness and the colour of the strips, I can change the strips to flash or play along to my music, I thought that was funkyMy least favourite was the adhesive, they supplied a good amount of adhesive but it fell down after a day, I had to invest in gorilla double sided tape to have the strips stay in placeTo be fair with anything the tape is never great so by default I usually replace them with gorilla tapeWhen it comes to Alexa, the lights are responsive but Alexa can only then them on or off or set the brightness, anything else is controlled by the mobile app

These LED strips are a good addition to a room, the supplied remote control provides functionality such as changing colours, setting fading, strobing etc. To get full functionality from the lights it is best to use the Smart Life app and then the lights can be more finely adjusted and also controlled by Google Assistant.The instructions for connecting to WiFi are not that good but basically the lights need to be turned off and on until they start flashing (do not use the remote control for this) and then they Smart Life app should find them.It was useful that a second roll of duble sided tape and connectores provided were provided as I have fiitted other LED light strips and had to buy connectors.I did try the music sync and it only seems to work if you go into the Smrt Life app, select music and then play music on your phone, I don't think I'll be using it very often.I have set the lights to come on at 30 minutes before Sunset using the Smart section of the Smart Life app and it works well.

These are ok. A couple of things though, it can't really do warm white (2700k). Also the built in microphone it mentions for the music sync is actually via the app and uses the microphone on your mobile - I thought it was built in to the driver unit.

So far I have been quite impressed with the light strip. The LEDs are quite bright and the remote is useful for giving you a small range of colours and a small number of flashing modes. The light strip is about 5 metres long and as there is a plug on both ends, presumably, sets can be joined together, assuming the power supply can cope! Initially it was not clear how you use some of the options shown, for example choosing a specific colour. The remote will not allow you to do this so you have to use the Smart Life app on your phone. Once you have installed this and linked it, via your network, to the LED strip then you can get other functions, such as getting the lights to flash in time with music. You can also choose the colour from the rotary selection, see the photo. In case you may not know the 5050 LEDS in the description is not the number of LEDs but the type of LED that is used. I am happy to recommend them.

These lights don’t work fully on music mode if you’re on an Apple device. As soon as you come out of the app the music mode stops. I’d go for Govee brand in future. I’ve informed the seller but they don’t seem bothered with telling people this. If you just want on/of and different colours then they’re fine but music mode?? No.

Great party decorations. We had a blast with these as they work awesome and soooo much fun. Great deal and we ended up buying more.
