Going strong after 40,000 miles
Update: These are still working at 100,000 miles, though oddly Champion now says model 9002 doesn't fit my engine and recommend 9202. Specs look identical except it states that the minimum gap for 9202 is closer but still .006 wider than my factory spec of .031 (.037 for 9002 vs. .039 for 9002). I was sure the 9002 was recommended last time, and you can manually adjust the gap without apparent damage.Original review: I can't vouch for the advertised 100,000 mile rating, but I've had no noticeable loss of power or any other complaints after 40,000 miles and approx. 4 years in a Japanese 4-cylinder engine. I installed them at 190,000 miles after using platinum plugs before that.
