I used to mix in smoothies with other fruits and vegetables. Depending on how much I use is how deep of an earthy flavor I get. Does not change flavor of berry smoothie but definitely gives it a deeper color. One of the better beet powders I have used.

My husband and I have been drinking beet juice for over a year now. Initially because his doctor recommended it to reduce my husband's high blood pressure. We bought a small amount from our local store and it actually worked! Amazingly, after drinking it, his blood pressure went down! Since it's so expensive to drink it daily, we purchased a larger quantity from online. After few months of drinking beet juice, we tried to purchase a bag for his dad. We couldn't remember our brand since we threw our bag away (storing in a container). So, we purchased this brand. This brand tastes better and isn't as gritty. We will be buying this brand when our batch runs out. And his father loves it!!!

I used to use fresh beets from the garden and I can tell the look and smell of these is pure and fresh thanks!

Product seems like it's great quality with no fillers or additives. Color is slightly lighter when compared to beet powder form my local natural food store, but it tastes the exact same and it seems to just be ground much more finely is all. But the serving size might be dangerously high (per the nutrition label - 1oz). Consuming beet powder likely increases nitrate levels in the blood, but having too high of nitrate levels can be dangerous. A serving size of 1oz is probably too much for most people, I'm 6'6" at 200lbs and it's too much for me. Talk to your doctor and do your own research to figure out what an appropriate amount to consume is for you.

This helps to make a delicious smoothie. I’m sure the healthy benefits are kicking in. Haven’t been using everyday. But approx 3-4 times a week.

Appears lots cheaper than “Healthy Beets” beet root powder, but the suggested serving size is 3-4 times that of Healthy Beets.Just wanted to mix it in water, but the result is a thick drink that tastes like dirt. Maybe I can mix it w yogurt. Maybe I can use it to dye Easter eggs.

I bought this to lower my blood pressure. It mixes easily in water. The taste is not that bad. It has quickly helped to lower my BP. Also, the price is very good.

I have been using this product for over a month now.Several times a week I add it to a citrus ginger smoothie in the morning. I find that it gives me a natural boost of energy. If you want to add more beets to your diet but don't have time to cook them this product is worth it!

Returned for obvious reasons

It tastes like beets it looks like beets....however my bag order came tripled bagged...cause the original bag was broken..this is not a "product problem" this is a "shipping and handling" problem. If it's broken (and quite the mess upon opening) you shouldn't ship it, AMAZON!

No special taste when adding it in smoothie. I also use it as natural red or pink pigment when making cake or cookies. But I found its color would become very light when baking in the oven, so it can only be a pigment when heating is not required.

It is a decent product but not what I expected. Maybe the taste is not for everyone.
