We now own several for easier cleaning
We already owned one of these sink strainers and were very happy with it; it keeps food scraps from going down the drain better than the stainless steel strainer that came with our sink. But it has been hard to keep the silicone one clean. We wanted additional identical strainers, so one could be in use while another was running through the dishwasher, which makes cleaning much more effective. Now we have several, so we can always use a clean one while the dirty one is in the dishwasher.

A Perfect Fit
The pipes leading from my kitchen sink to the sewer line are very old and very narrow. It didn't take much to clog them, which happened with disheartening frequency. I'd tried other strainers, but they didn't fit very well due in part because of their rigid construction. Robinson's Squish Stopper/Strainer is made of a flexible, BPA-free plastic that fits my drain perfectly, and is washable by hand or in the dishwasher. It comes with a cover that converts the strainer to a plug without that slow draining that happens with so many other plugs. I definitely recommend it and in fact have bought a couple of back ups, just in case!
