Q: Can one strap hold under belly

I have only used the table twice so far and it seems fine. Our dog is a 4 month old Bichon Frisée, so she is not very big but is very “wriggly” the strap seems to be fine for her and does not cause any undue anxiety (although she was not at all impresses with her first home bath time). The lady at our pet groomers told us that this table would be fine for our use ie. drying our puppy and trimming around her face in between visits to the groomers every six weeks. Hope that this is of some help to you. PS - the table is really sturdy in it’s construction and it folds away nicely.

Q: Would this be suitable for a German Shepard

I brought this for my labradoodle which I would say is about the same height as a German Shepherd. If the harness bar is used on the highest height it's just right for her and the table is more than wide/long enough. As for holding weight I'd say it would he fine as it's a very stable and well built item. Hope this helps you.

Yes, it can be folded down, simply remove lower tray and fold down.

Q: Is the bar strong enough to hold a dog (staffy) off its feet in a sling to cut nails ?

I wouldn’t risk it holding its weight but would hold if the dog is standing.
