Timex Mid-Size Ironman Sleek 50 Classic Watch

I don't normally review things online, but I absolutely love this watch. I love it so much that even after I lost it and tried to replace it with various other watches, I eventually sprung for my true baby. I wear it as an everyday sport watch. As a college athlete, this watch gets a lot of wear and tear and it has never given me trouble at all. I love the color of the strap, I love that the date and time (including seconds) is clearly visible on the face, I love that the other functions are easy to navigate and it doesn't try to do too much. I think this watch is invaluable as an every day time piece or if you're looking for something that will last you a while without being unfashionable or cumbersome. I have very small wrists, and this watch doesn't overpower them or make me feel like I'm wearing a cuff, something I suffer with a lot with other watches. If you're looking for a watch that you can wear every day and has basic digital watch functions, THIS IS IT!!!

This watch is very nice and light, the strap is comfortable, and it fits snugly on the wrist. I think it's especially good if you have smaller wrists, but it adjusts to a larger size as well. It is easy to set, and keeps time better than most of my other watches. I've always had ones that run a minute or two faster than my regular clock, but this one is very consistent. It makes a good everyday wear watch.

So far so good. I love all of the features like the three alarms, timer, and interval timer with repeats. I also like the slim, low profile design. I read that this watch wears quickly and I have only had it for a week, but could see how that might be the case. It already has a scratch and I can imagine the band will turn colors. But if the features keep working well then I won't mind the cosmetics.

This is my third time buying this watch. I wear these every day and abuse them pretty badly. My first one got sand in it and stopped working. My second one works just fine, but the piece that holds the band in place finally broke after about 4-5 years. I could have just replaced the band, but decided I wanted a change of color, so I got the "mint" color, which is more of a blue-green (like a swimming pool). It is very pretty. These watches do everything I need them to do as far as watches go, and I am pleased with the quality. They are pretty intuitive as well, and I like that. Well worth the money.

I am a professional dog walker and I'm out in the weather all day. This watch is great! It's light and tough and rain proof. It is very pretty and looks terrific without giving up functionality. The band is great - it doesn't irritate my skin when I sweat or get rained on. That's a real plus! And, it's easy to read in the dark thanks to the indiglo button. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and am thinking of getting another in the pink color they have!

Timex Women's Ironman watch is attractive in design offering in a nice array of colors. Large function buttons make it easy to use while running. I bought this watch 5 months ago and the indigo light is fading. I called Timex about this they said to return it.They will have a look at it and then fix the watch. Problem is now my daughter will be without a watch for at least 3 weeks and now she is going into her most important XC championships. After just 5 months of use I would think Timex would offer to send out a new watch. I should have looked at the warranty closer. I went with this more expense Ironman watch thinking it would perform better. Not the case here.

I bought this watch for counting laps in the pool - just for fitness swimming. Today I took it out for the first time and it worked like a charm! It was comfortable to wear in the water, easy to use for lap counting, and it's still in perfect condition. After my workout I stored my laps and reviewed them later. So far so good!As previous reviewers have indicated, the watch is really more Tiffany blue than mint green. I'm glad i knew that because I was looking for a turquoise watch not a green one.

I don't like plastic watch bands, but I do like this one. It is divided and let's air under it the way it is designed. It has a lock tab at the end of the band so it doesn't stick out. I need big time and date numbers on the face, and it was very simple to set. It is a great, colorful everyday watch.

My (Ironman) mom and I have been using these watches for decades. They are a nice size for our small wrists, attractive, have the indiglo light, chrono, waterproof, and lots of other features including, most importantly for us, the interval timer function that most cheaper sports watches lack. The only problem for us is that when the plastic strap breaks, it can't be replaced so instead we have to replace the whole watch. So this watch was a replacement for that reason and I LOVED that it arrived so fast (ordered it Dec 21 and it arrived in time for Christmas!).

My wife loves these watches for running. The actual watch lasts well but the strap degrades and ultimately breaks after 2-3 years. This is our third one.Replacing the strap costs c75percent of the purchase cost.Also, some water issues which is dissapointing given claims to be 100m waterproof.But if you're after a good running watch, with intuitive splits etc, it's a good watch.

I wish the bands were tougher where they're attached to watch. They last about 1 year with everyday wear then split at this point. I've owned 5 now and the fit and weight is great. Not too bulky.

Getting harder and harder to find, the Timex sleek fits my wrist and my lifestyle. When I need a timer, an alarm or just the time, I can count on this stylish watch.

I love this watch, I've had a few others of the same style in the past. Lately whenever I purchase one though, there is one function that does not work properly. When I set an alarm, I can see the alarm icon while I am in the alarm mode. However, when I go back to the main screen (which shows the current time) the alarm icon is gone. It's too bad Timex hasn't fixed this ongoing issue. I have tried ordering two of these from Amazon and both had the same problem so I sent them back. I'm very disappointed, it's hard to find watches that are functional, good-looking, comfortable, and at a reasonable price. If this glitch doesn't bother you, then go for it, it's a good watch otherwise.
