Gold's Gym XRS 20 Adjustable Olympic Workout Bench with Squat Rack, Leg Extension, Preacher Curl, and Weight Storage

My son absolutely loves this weight bench. I bought this bench for my son for Christmas. As soon as he opened the box he was putting it together. He is 16 years old and was able to put it together with ease. He has been working out at least 5 times a week and is so happy with the sturdiness and how easy it is to fold up. I would reccomend this bench to whomever was interested in a home gym. Best money spent. Definitely worth every cent spent.

This is a very easy to assemble, affordable weight rack for your average weight-lifter. Hard core lifters who are throwing around a lot of weight may find the rack a little too flimsy (it really needs a cross bar for support between the uprights). Instructions for assembly were a cinch. Of course, with any product manufactured in China, the quality of the hardware is suspect. I had an important carriage bolt that was deformed and I had to drive a shim into the slot to prevent it from spinning.

As many other's have pointed out this is a Weider bench ...do not purchase from this seller as Weider (Icon) apparently will not support it through 3rd party. Buy directly from a licensed re-seller or find a better bench set.I knew this would be an entry level bench but was willing to take a chance since it was relatively inexpensive.The weight rack specifically was very poorly designed/manufactured. The mounting holes were in wrong locations forcing the uprights to lean...this is unsafe and cannot be used. Since this was purchased thru Amazon, Weider (Icon) told me they could do nothing for me...despite the safety issue.Rather than deal with returning the entire set and starting over, I will re-mount these and/or weld them to the frame and chalk this up as a lesson learned and next time spend the money on better quality equipment.

We purchased this product for our daughter to prepare for college workouts. So far the product has performed well. It was easy to assemble and all parts marked well ( this is a great help in the assembly process). The product is sturdy and well designed. Great job here's to many years of use.

Fairly simple in concept to assemble. Good value for money as it can fit in 7X7 space include barbells. The bench does not sit flat and I had to use spacers below to prevent it from shaking when I work out. The preacher curl pad adjustment screw does not thread into the nut. I’m assuming this is a manufacturing defect with alignment or thread. I’ve reached out to the vendor to see if this is something they can troubleshoot over an email or provide suggestions. without resolving this, the preacher cannot be used. It’s good value for money if everything assembles right and sits up sturdy.

I don't write many reviews, but felt this one was important. I was worried by what I had read in other reviews. I took a chance with this seller and product. Both delivered (though I only assembled the unit recently). The product arrived undamaged within a week. Assembly was straight forward. It came with all the parts and went together as promised. It did not have a logo on the bench, ... instructions, warranty, etc. carried the Weider brand. I believe I got what I paid for and I could not be happier. Thank you.

No trouble with assembly. Holds my 300lb barbell set with no problems. Small cons, which were not enough to remove a star: I wish the adjustment pins were cotter pins or something similar - screws are time-consuming and I wish the caps on the ends of the floor supports were tighter - moving the bench means they are always popping off. I really like the equipment overall.
