Hachette Thermal Blackout Curtains Pencil Pleat Tape Top Including Pair of Tiebacks (Silver Grey, 46" X 72")

Accidentally pulled the pleat strings out of one so had to get a needle out and re-thread them so be aware that you need to ensure they are tied properly first. These are quite easy to snag though, so be careful not to catch on nails or sharp corners. Good value for the price but not the best quality curtain ever, obviously... but definitely good for the price!

For the price the curtains are excellent value. The curtains aren’t blackout as such but certainly reduce the light considerably. I did order a light colour which doesn’t help with light reduction but It isn’t a problem as I already had blackout curtain linings.I only gave 4 stars as I order 2 pairs of 46” wide curtains, one pair were actually 44” wide and the other pair were 45” wide. Both pairs of curtains were shorter than the stated length but luckily were all the same length. It doesn’t actually cause me a problem & they do the job I bought them for. Overall the quality is very good for the cost.

Bought these to replace a much lighter pair of bedroom curtains. These definitely keep out the light - the only light that comes through is across the top now. I love the fact that they are brown on both sides - no linings showing when I clip them back. The brown is quite dark and matches the other colours in the bedroom really well. For the price these are excellent. I'm not sure about the thermal quality - this wasn't really relevant to me but if you need to cut out the amount of light coming through then these are certainly working for me.

Delivery arrive very quickly. I was excited to receive them but as soon as I unwraps the packages and opened up the curtain, I was disappointed having read the reviews I thought I’ll take the risk. The quality looks awful! What a waste of my time, I’ve been looking to replaced my old ones now I have to keeps them until I find something that is good value for money and good quality.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I HAVE INFORMED AMAZON.These were not as advertised. The packet states BLACKOUT but they are not. It advertises 3 layers of material but there is definitely only one layer (cheap curtains, nice colour). I would not have purchased them if I had known. I have contacted the seller. Clearly misadvertised!!! I ordered Navy Blue, 66x72Pros:This dark colour does a reasonable job of blocking light. I have a dark blind behind them, and together they work well. On their own, the curtains are pretty good, probably close to 90% light blocked.Material is nice quality. Stitching is all fine on curtains (some others have commented on that). They seem well made.Material has a nice satin finish, and hangs well.Length seems correct, as per description.Cons:The Navy Blue colour is more vibrant / saturated than the image. Which is a shame, because I wanted something a bit more understated. Its not a bad colour though. Just not quite as depicted on the image above, or the image on the box.I'm pretty sure they're not 3 layers of material, as the image implies. But they do work well. They're same colour on front and back too, so it is at last two layers.Overall: very good value for money, and I'm pleased with how much light they block.

Perfect when you need curtains but don’t have a lot of spare money

I got these to provide an additional lining for another pair of very thin curtains and have hung them like nets. They work really well for this purpose, blocking out pretty much all the light when both sets of curtains are closed. But they do let a fair bit of light through when used alone, although darker colours may be more effective. I got the cream and it's quite a dark, kind of antique shade, which is just right for my room. All in all, a very good buy. Especially pleased with the tie-backs.
