This is a real high quality fountain pen with a most unique nib. the Music nib is as wet a nib as you will ever use IMO. A nice pen for me to experience but not one that I will use as often as a broad nib.

Very nice pen, albeit a scratchy nib. I got the M, which surprised me because it was very broad (as opposed to other Sailor nibs).

I was looking for a music golden nib pen and a Sailor was my choice.You need to use the right angle to get the proper line variation typical for stub nibs. This nib will not write as smoothly as M or B but that is due to its shape. Use proper ink and paper. Very nice feeling! Perfect writing tool!

The Sailor Pro Gear is my new favorite pen. The writing experience is different from fountain pens from other companies, including Pilot, in that the nibs have more grip to them when it comes to how they interact with paper. It's a subtle thing, but I love it.The weight and balance of the pen are spot on posted or not. After many Pilot fountain pens, I'm super impressed with the Sailor experience.

I'm pretty new to fountain pen collecting and this is a great first pen for every day carry. I bought an official sailor brand Ink Converter Cartridge and loaded it with Pilot Ink in Tsukushi brown. It has an O-ring sealing the main ink reservoir/nib to the pen barrel, and after I learned to tighten the nib so it didn't rotate free when I unscrewed the cap I didn't have any ink spills. The pen barrel is long enough to write without posting the cap, but you can post the cap if you wish. The nib is the highlight - very smooth and responsive to pressure.

I purchased the pen in the USA as a gift for my daughter then left for Canada. The pen looks nice but the tines don’t align properly and so it’s scratchy and the ink doesn’t flow evenly. I didn’t know how to return it from Canada for an exchange. I’m returning to the USA now but have run out of my 30 day return window. I was hoping they would make an exception but that seems unlikely.
