I used this book to help look at how to save my beloved Lady, a lab back in 2006. She was diagnosed with a Mass Cell Tumor. We did the normal treatments that were recommended (and physcially hard on her body...but I don't regret it) but I also incorporated natural remedies too. We looked at the use of food (which we changed after she got cancer) and natural products to help her immune system and to fight infection through homeopathic measure. She made it through her treatments, we kept her (and the other dogs) on the same diet and she remained with us for five more years to the age of 11.5 yrs old. Most dogs who have a mass cell get it back after a year or two. It never came back. I attribute that to the holistic diet we kept her on. She was my love, my buddy and my companion. It was a lot of work creating that diet and worth it.
