Rubie's Costume Star Wars Classic Princess Leia Deluxe Child Costume, Large (610504)

My 10 year old daughter loves this costume and the fit is great (size L). The style of the costume is great and the material itself seems durable. However, she used her birthday gift card to buy it and was disappointed when the first one came and was used and dirty. There were black marks all over the outfit and dirt in the wig, so we returned it and requested another. The second one had also obviously been a return but wasn't dirty, just had been taken out of original packaging. She was so anxious to wear the costume that we just kept that one and washed it, and she decided she won't be wearing the wig. She received it yesterday and the seam at the neck is already starting to come apart, but I'll just have to sew it myself.

The costume was nice quality and held up with two weeks of Halloween activities and still looks like new. The fabric is light so my daughter needed to wear all white under, which was not a problem we had time to prepare for it.Con: the wig was way too small. We ordered an adult small and the wig fit my 5 year old and 2 year old. Luckily my daughter has very long hair and I made her buns so it all worked out.

This was a perfect for my petite 12 yr old. Layer with a white tank top, or make sure they have skin tone undergarments.

I am a 5'2" 115# woman and the large fit me great! Way less expensive than the adult costumes. It was comfortable, roomy enough, perfect length and the hood is awesome. I got tons of compliments! The wig fit my head but would look more proportionate on a kid so I bought one of those Leia headbands instead.

I am adult and my ethnic is Asian. I am 5'1", the dress length was perfect on me, the back little bit just fit right because I have large hip. The belt a little too small, but I can made it fit. The wig didn't fit, because I understand this is child size. If I buy adult size, Maybe the wig will fit but I'm sure the dress will be too long. So that's why I bought Princess Leia's headband. And it turned looked pretty good.

This is a great and quality costume. It fit my tall 10 year old just perfectly...all except the wig. That was laughably too small. It wouldn't even fit down over her head. My 7 year old tried it on and it was almost too small for her. Great costume but the wig needs to be larger.

The large costume fit my 11 year old daughter perfect (5’0”, 95lbs). It’s a little sheer so you’d probabaly need something underneath for coverage. The hair wig is a little strange fitting, but my daughter has naturally long thing brown hair so we are able to make the buns.

Costume - fit, style, & quality are great! I ordered a large for my 12 year old, ~5 ft tall daughter, and it fits perfectly. The only problem is that it has what looks like a motor oil stain about 6 inches from the bottom on the front. I have pre-treated and washed it twice, but it won't wash out. We are going to keep it b/c we really don't have time to do an exchange before parties start.Wig - the buns are lopsided and not wrapped evenly, so it looks pretty ridiculous. We will probably do buns in her real hair and spray it brown.Overall, the costume really looks great and is worth the price on it's own. Don't plan on being happy with the wig and hopefully we just got a one-off with the stain.

I had purchased this pricey costume because I thought the quality would justify the price. I normally don’t write negative reviews but I find it disturbing that anyone feels it is OK to charge this amount money for something of so poor quality (e.g there was a pink stain around the colour, the grey elements of the belt was coming off, the Velcro was one stitch away from coming off). I would not even take this to the charity shop as I would find it disrespectful…

Fitting is on the big side which I prefer. We just pinned it up under the belt. Good quality. We had our daughter wear a long sleeve white top and white leggings to keep warm. Perfect

As an authorised Star Wars product, we paid more for this than other cheaper alternatives, hoping for good quality - and it hasn't disappointed. The material has a slight shimmer to it and when my daughter wears it with the wig, and it's very authentic to the original look. The only point for improvement would be the wig, which comes up quite small even on my 8 year old.

Good quality however the size not correct. The actual size was bigger then it should be but we able to manage.

Very generous size - I had to shorten the length on sleeves etc. to fit my 8 year old daughter.We never used the wig - it seemed rather small.
