Where do I start? The item arrived and is very small, poorly assembled (strings different lengths and tiny, thin lengths of bamboo), much smaller than the description hints at and basically doesn't make a noise! Pretty much the only reason of purchase was noise!. To return the item will costs a quarter of its cost!! I will have to put this purchase down to my poor choice. Not worth wasting more money to return it, so I will just put it in the bin and go to a local outlet where I can view before I purchase. For me a complete waste of money 😞.

When I unpacked this and was carrying it around the house, it was making a delightful sound. Once I hung it outside from the lower branch of my tree, barely a peep from it. It looks great and the tree swings about in the breeze but the chime only gives a rare single clank. The problem would appear to be that the dangling wind catcher, is not sufficiently large enough, to catch sufficient wind to mov the clanger around all the chime bars. I will keep adjusting it until I get a better outcome, as I love the look and the materials used.
