I think it’s a wonderful product because it does the job that is designed to do. It’s sturdy and screws that they provide does a wonderful job at keeping the can crusher in place. Personally, I ended up using a deck screw to keep the product in a more sturdy position. Overall, I haven’t had issues with this and it’s been outside for a while. There hasn’t been any issues with rust being built up. I think the only downside is that the opening is not wide enough to crush cans like monster cans. However, crushing other cans, it does it perfect. I would highly recommend this product and it’s quite honestly satisfying to crush so many cans.

Bought for my daughter (2nd grade) so she could crush the cans. She’s at least 250 cans in, and 0 issues, with the minor exception that monster cans don’t fit in it…

Bought this April 26th 2023. It was easy to install and seemed to do the job. Crushed Diet Coke cans well until last Friday, February 16th 2024. It literally destroyed itself beyond any hope of repair becoming a twisted hunk of useless metal. Mid-stroke the lock nut unlocked HA HA off the handle and since it was moving with crushing force, pun indented, it destroyed itself and nearly my hand as well.Now you may think that this belonged to 200 lbs. of mean machine macho, but no my wife and I are in our 70s and we have only crushed less than half a garbage bag of Diet Coke cans. We just don't drink that much Coke. So, it has had light use by regular people.I should have taken a picture of it on the wall with a partially crushed Coke can in it, but I was just going to throw it away and start over. Then I realized that perhaps McKay would make it right. I mean all that's missing to make it a safe and dependable product is simple little washers between the lock nut and the handle so that the handle doesn't rub the lock not off with use.Tried to contact McKay and nope, no response. Am I surprised? Not at all.So, if you buy one of these, please do yourself and your hand a favor and before mounting up for use take the lock nuts off the handle, put an appropriate washer on between handle and locknut and proceed to use without fear of total annihilation of your crusher and possible grievous injury to whichever hand is working the McKay crusher.

Got this on a whim, my husband said it was “the best gift”. My recycling area is much more tidy now. Durable.

I bought two of these, a standard 12 oz size and a 16 oz tall size. They both work great!! I'd probably go for the 16 oz size if you are choosing just for the flexibility, but either way these are great additions to a backyard/patio setup.Would definitely buy again.Highly recommended product.

This is fantastic! Very easy to use, does not take up much space, crushes cans easily.

A cheap and cheerful product that does what is needed. It isn’t particularly high quality but it doesn’t really need to be.It’s not a very smooth action, but if you put a little grease on it is all good.

This is the second one I’ve bought different make this time feels a lot sturdier
