Dr. Bronner’s is best for my hands, and I wash a lot. Diluted, it cleans fruit and vegetables. The almond scent is pleasant, and counteracts other unpleasant smells effectively.

So I have had this bottle for quite a while. I still have a lot of the bottle left. I bought this product for the purpose of cleaning in hopes that my house would smell like wedding cake. The scent isn't as strong as some of the others in this line. It does smell very good though.my favorite way to use this product...- I have a large white fiberglass tub and boy does it get dirty! With a husband who tinkers with restoring a car and two children who are attracted to dirt, my tub gets nasty. I use this along with baking soda as a safer alternative to comet. The tub is large enough I have to get in it to clean it. I sprinkle a small amount our baking soda on each side of the tub, then add a few drops of this and stir it together to make a thick paste. Then I rub my cleaning cloth in it and it effortlessly takes off all of the grime. It's like I am cleaning the tub with almond icing. I can't help but smile when I do it. It has completely changed my relationship with my tub.-it is amazing on dirty grout also! I sprinkle a tiny bit (very small amount, much less than you think) on the grout lines on my flooring. Then one drop of the castile soap and rub it with a towel and again effortlessly the grout returned to a color I never knew was there.-I also make a all purpose cleaner by putting 1/4 cup castile (or less), a 1/2 cup borax and hot water in a squirt bottle. Shake before each use. It cleans my granite counter tops, stove top, doors, walls, you name it.This product really works well, especially if you are going all natural or trying to save money. This one investment will save you lots of money! The uses for it are endless. I listed my top uses for it. I have also made dish liquid and window cleaner. Tons of recipes can be easily found on the internet. It last much longer than you think it will.Another note- I also have the peppermint, which I bought only for the anti bacterial properties and I think I may use it more than I do this one, Only because the smell of the peppermint is stronger. And I like things that have a lot of scent. You can't go wrong with the product. It delivers, buy the smell you think you will enjoy the most. I am very happy I made this purchase and will buy more when I run out, but it's so super concentrated, I am certain it will be quite a while until that happens.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bronners. I had wanted to try it for quite a while, but hadn't gone around to it until I saw them in the sample section at Target. I thought I would give them a try. I was hooked right away. I love that they are natural, vegetarian soaps made responsibly. I got the lavender and peppermint initially. I like both, but I actually think peppermint is my favorite. I use it every morning and it helps wake me up a little (has a great tingly sensation).After reading about the company history, I decided that even if I hated the soap (which I don't, obviously) I would buy from this company! Their products are made in the USA and their employees are treated wonderfully. They actually practice fair trade and when they say organic, you can actually trust that it is. The company is very active in social causes. There aren't too many companies like this anymore, so I think it is important to support them.My husband was a little skeptical (as usual) but the soap spoke for itself and now he is a convert, too. He is very picky about scents, but he has not complained of a single one. We decided to try the almond scent since there were so many good reviews and we both could agree on it. It smells very much like almond extract, which I love. It goes without saying, though, that if you don't like that smell, then you won't like this particular scent. Like all of the ones I have tried, the scent is quite strong, but natural smelling.Being a natural soap without weird chemicals you can't pronounce, the lather on this is minimal, but you get used to it (once you get over the mindset that the lather is what makes you clean). However, if you must have your lather, adding it to a shower pouf creates an abundance. I have tried the soap for cleaning and it works quite well. I use it on my extremely sensitive and adult acne-prone skin and it has not caused a breakout. It rinses away cleanly. My daughter and I both have eczema and we both have been using this soap without problems.Bottom Line: I cannot recommend this soap or this brand enough! It may seem expensive at first glance, but a little goes a long way. Personally, I think it is worth every penny.

The product contents itself are great. It’s natural ingredients and it lathers well and smells great.However, all over the bottle are religious texts bashing the customer about how great god is. That’s really poor marketing and a waste of plastic imo.Minus 1 star for bible bashing text.

This is the first time I've ordered the Almond having bought most the other scents and the unscented one. First of all, if you haven't used Dr. Bronner's soap go out and try one now. All of them are good general purpose soaps where a little goes a long way. If you like moisturising creamy soaps these are not for you, but if you like soaps that lather up well, can be used for everything, and leave you feeling very clean then these are fantastic.On to the Almond one, it's very almondy (if you like marzipan you'll feel hungry every time you use it) it's also the thickest feeling of the Dr Bronner scents. It doesn' t seem to dry the skin as much as say the tea oil scent.​

This product is simple amazing.It is the most organic soap you can find and do not be scared of the price, the bottle lasts for many months.You need to use a very little amount of product for wash your body and I have to dilute it as hand-wash and to wash my face.. It looks that is too liquid but it is very strong.Yes, it seems that it leave the skin a little bit dry but it's perfectly normal with organic and natural products. After few months you will see a huge difference on your skin.. soft on the touch and healthy. In combination with this soap I use Coconut oil after every shower.I will absolutely buy it again and again. Good value for money.

I purchased this soap almost 1 year ago now, and I still have about 8-10CM left in the bottle. I've used this as my body soap throughout this time, and have also tried using it to make my own dishwashing liquid and dishwasher tablets. The almond smell is quite strong and distinct, I admit I don't really like it and will probably go for the lavender next time. It's a great soap and the company is run by a crazy hippy which makes it all the better to wash yourself with.

It’s not actually gel,it’s runny and kind of drips if you not handling it well will cause a waste every time I use it.But it’s a good Castile soap and smell good, still need to put on layer of cream after use can cause little dry skin on me.
