Penn reels rock
I've been a Penn fan since I can remember.. I've used it for charter fishing I've used it for lake,ponds an I'm a big STEELHEAD FISHING FREAK!!! So I definitely want a Penn while I'm fishing...

Outstanding!
I have always used a lot of Penn Reals. I now own about six. The price was the best I could find. It arrived post haste and it is just as I imagined. I highly recommend Penn Reals for both fresh and salt water.

Disappointed!
I haven't had a Penn reel in a long time. Thought I'd try this one since it was on sale. I should have returned it. Everything seemed fine until I started my retrieve and it was not smooth and seemed to stick. I oiled it and it didn't help. I guess Penn reels just aren't what they used to be.

Regular Fierce III 2000. Good reel, just not a live liner. Take the live liner out of the Description and I'd give it a 5.
