I have a few different pairs of Spanx. I like their brand a lot, but this pair that I ordered was very uncomfortable. I ordered an XL and it was just so tight! For reference, I am 5'5 and weigh 175lbs. On average, I wear sizes Medium and Large. I ordered an XL because I wanted a looser, more comfortable fit. I have a Large Spanx panty in black that is so soft and stretchy and comfortable. But this pair I ordered in XL was not comfortable for me at all. It felt so tight and restrictive. I returned it, and will stick to my older pair. Also, just as a heads up, if you're ever looking for another brand of shapewear, the Yitty brand by Lizzo is really high quality. I love that their bands have a nice material that holds it in place so it does not roll down. My Spanx tend to roll more than my Yitty, and the material they use for the sticky-like band to keep it in place wears out so quickly. I basically just use my bra to hold their shapewear in place, because the sticky-like band meant to keep it from rolling down is worn out almost entirely. But Yitty also feels very tight, so just... size up, or be prepared to exchange until you find the correct sizing for your body type and comfort preferences. These products are stretchy, and they are supposed to, "hold everything in," but you should still be able to breathe and move comfortably, so make sure you are sizing correctly to your body type!

I really liked how thin and light they felt. The only thing I did not like was how after a couple hours of use the spank‘s rolled down and I felt I was being squished in my stomach area.

I bought an XL and it took some work to get it on. It was so tight that I could barely breathe let alone wear it to an event for 3 hours. I would size up. I bet it works great when it fits. I returned mine.

Material is comfortable and stretches wonderfully. For a summer wedding this is going to be perfect. I tried it on for a bit. I had no rolling down! I am 5’11”and 210 pounds I got an extra large. Fit beautifully. Most of my weight is in my stomach area. Didn’t snatch me as much as I thought but will do wonderfully under my dress. The material reminds me of something between nylons and tights. So be careful putting them on! Good idea that you remove your jewelry and any sharp nails. You can puncture and tear this. When I looked at the reviews that’s exactly what I thought most the women had done. You could tell by the fabric that it’s not meant for pulling up with fingertips a.k.a. claws lightweight and comfortable. I don’t feel like I lost that many inches. But I do feel like it slammed and smoothed out Problem areas. Remember to pull them up as if they were a pair of delicate silk nylons. I would not suggest them for every day use I don’t think he would get a lot of wear out of them. Or washes! But for a couple times under a elegant dress just to make you feel a little prettier they are worth every penny I paid. I also would hand wash Cold water!

I wish I was joking, but I’ve had these spanx for a hour, tried them on once, and they already have 3 holes from me taking them on and off! I followed the instructions, looked at the website for size recommendations, and did my research. My size and measurements meant that I got the right size. I’ve also had shapewear before, so I don’t believe I was doing anything out of the ordinary in terms of handling it. But damn! These things ripped like tissue paper! Seriously, I’m so dissapointed. Also, the silicone strip to prevent the back rolling down did nothing. I adjusted the spanx every which way, on all heights of my back, everything. Rolled down and pinched so badly! Do not buy!!

I love Spanx! My favorite shape wear, they never let me down. These are flattering and comfortable! Thanks so much Spanx!

Too small, I ordered large and am a size 14.It does not have enough support at top, rolls down - uncomfortable.
