Being avid foodies we were in the market for a good blender at a reasonable price point that ticked all our boxes - namely having a large capacity, a glass jug, steel blades and a hefty amount of power.This blender lives up to all our criteria and was delivered promptly. We read the rest of the reviews here before purchasing and want to clear up some problems people raised:- Yes this is a sturdy blender and you do need to ensure its clipped in place properly before use. That's true of all blenders and these features are designed for safety and so that it doesn't explode mess everywhere!- The jug isn't heavy heavy but demonstrates good build which is what we all want. Separating it from the unit isn't hard once you know how ditto with the plastic cover. Once you know how it's easy so go careful and take the time to learn how it all clips into place once you've got that you're golden! It's honestly a lot easier to navigate than previous reviews allude to - though appreciate it might be more challenging for those with hand mobility/arthritis problems.We've been mightily impressed with the power of this blender - even on pulse it takes mere seconds to blend ingredients up - we've used it to create soups and sauces so far with both cold and hot ingredients. It's also easy to clean whilst looking great on our kitchen countertop!

Glass jug is solid and heavy making it feel secure when in action. Suckers on feet are super sucky? Like fighting with a two year old in the throws of a tantrum. A well used and appreciated piece of kitchen kit that will ge well used. Makes brilliant Strawberrry milkshakes.

AVOID THIS PRODUCT!Did not work at all! Total waste of money.The safety locking mechanism is a complete abomination. It relies on a frail piece of 2mm plastic being pressed down by the jug (which in this case it failed to do) if there is ANY type of misalignment the device will not operate.I spent an hour locking and unlocking, in the end I removed the jug and pressed the little piece of plastic manually down with a screwdriver – it worked. Thereby proving the hopeless design and sheer shoddy quality of the product which is totally hit and miss ad dependant on the flimsiest of bits of plastic to work!This is a major defect in this product, I have used many Wahl products in the past and they have given me good use – this is an abomination of a design and I and severely disappointed given the price of this product.This has put me off buying any future Wahl products.Save your time and money and shop elsewhere.

This blender is definitely for the faint hearted. It is heavy and needs to click properly for it to work. It grinds beans and even leafs smoothly.Howeveeeeer, it's the best and meets my everyday needs. If you dont mind extra muscles, this brand is a must have.

Good quality build made from glass. Easy to use and clean.

Design, easy to clean, and quality excellent

Don't be put off by some of the reviews.This is the best blender I've ever used, it blends very well (it is a blender not a purée stick!), frozen and hot ingredients. It is very powerful.The complaints about the security locking: a blender of this calibre should have this and I can't fault it. Have not had a problem locking the lid or securing the jug in its base.I've used the blender on a daily basis for around 6 weeks now and as above, can't fault it.

A quality blender that is affordable. It’s heavy and sturdy so not for weak hands.
